  1. That explains alot. For a HC who's bread and butter is suppose to be defensive prowess, he hasn't really put that product on the field. I guess he expects to outscore everyone.

  3. West Brook 40 Strake Jesuit 55. Final
  4. Another Crusaders TD. SJ now leads 55-40, less than 3 mins left.
  5. TD Bruins. Went for 2, but failed. 7:18 left, Crusaders lead 48-40.
  6. SJ 47 Brook 34, 9:43 in the 4th.
  7. Both defense giving up the big play all night.
  8. It's back and forth. Brook scored on a 65 yard run, to tie it 34-34. Then, SJ hit a 70 yard TD pass to go back up 41-34. Damn!
  9. So, their actual numbers are close to 1100. Well, I guess because they're a TAPPS school, the UIL turns a blind eye to their recruiting. Either way, they're a good team, and a good program. I, for one, was not looking over them. I knew they were going to be tough.
  10. It's my understanding they have an enrollment of approximately 2200. West Brook is just over 2500. Seems pretty close to me.
  11. Brook fumbled. Runner was down. Refs let SJ recover and return it for a TD. Crusaders lead 31-27.
  12. TD Bruins! Missed PAT. Brook leads 27-24.
  13. SJ for a 45 yard TD up the middle. Crusaders lead 24-21. Ugh!
  14. TD Bruins. Brook leads 21-17 in the 2nd
  15. SJ runs the same play for another TD. Our secondary is suspect. SJ leads 17-14.
  16. SJ for a 50 yard TD pass. Bruins lead 14-10.
  17. Elia to Simpson for a 30 yard TD! Bruins 14, Crusaders 3.
  18. SJ fumble. Bruins recover at their 42.
  19. TD Bruins. Brook leads 7-3, in the first.
  20. Which is precisely why those starters should have sat out the second half of the Bellaire game. Theres absolutely no reason why some key players are hurt. Some coaches just dont learn.
