1. Me and my family will be there...in our purple and white of course!  I personally think it is good for fans from other schools to wear their school colors!  It shows how we all come together to support one of our own!  I loved seeing how many different communities came to support us at the Dome in'99!!  I am curious how they ended up going with Reliant for the last game to a high school stadium for this one?  I know the Berry Center is very nice but crowds usually get bigger as teams keep winning!  Hope there won't be an issue with getting tickets cause I'm excited to see this game!
2. My son plays for PNGYFA and there is a little girl on his team!  She's been out playing some of the boys the last few weeks!  I think it's awesome!
3.

I know for a fact that VISD sent an abundance of tickets to NISD.  This is an issue you need to take up with your own school district and not try to drag another school district thru the mud based on your personal assumptions.
Nobody is dragging anybody through the mud. Facts are facts. For whatever reason, Vidor won't send anymore. The standard procedure seems to be for the home school to send more tickets if the away school is low the week of but Vidor wont. This is coming from a reliable source at NISD. Someone who handles these tickets. Just wondering... Is this Vidor's homecoming?
No we play Vidor for their homecoming and they only sent PNG 500 and they were gone the first day of season ticket sales.
Exactly...apparently there is something fishy going on because like I said, we were originally told Vidor only sent 500 and did not have any plans to send more...not even the week of the game!  Some on here have asked...why would they do that?  Well, I can't say what the reason would be for the Vidor vs Nederland game, but we are playing them for their Homecoming and it is a BIG deal in Vidor, so it appeared as if they were trying to hold back tickets for their fans!  A complaint was made and now we're being told they will send more tickets to be sold the week of the game but no info was given as to how many they will send!  I don't want to believe that they would purposely with hold tickets but something similar to this happened 2 years ago when we played in Vidor for their Homecoming.  Idk how many they sent then, but after season ticket holders purchased theirs and after general public sales the week of the game, we were told that the visitor side was SOLD OUT...no more tickets, not even at the gate!  Well, mysteriously there were about 100 or so Vidor fans sitting on the visitor side!  Someone I know asked one of these Vidor fans how it was that they got tickets because supposedly the visitor side was sold out?  This person told my friend that more tickets "came available" a couple days before the game!  So, it leads me to believe that they do hold back tickets for their fans!  Maybe not...but it sure does look that way!
4. We're having the same ticket issue at PNG!  I went to pick up my season tickets the 2nd day they went on sale and there were already no more Vidor tickets!  At the time, we were told that Visor only sent 500 and that's all they were sending period!  Apparently our Admin made some calls to Vidor and UIL officials and filed a complaintand Vidor was told they must send more!  A couple weeks later a message.was posted on the PNGISD website that more tickets will be available the week of the game!  How many more...I don't know!  After hearing they only sent 10 to Nederland I'm very concerned that we won't get many more than that!!
5. I apologize...my information was incorrect...someone told me PNGYFA provided the crosses!  Thanks for correcting that for me!  A big thanks to Kountze!  All the boys displayed them proudly!  We were glad to show our support!  Stand up and stand out!
6.
Any updates? How is Nelson looking?
Final 31-0 Lamar!  Don't let the score fool you...Langston is horrible and Lamar isn't much better IMO!  Nelson got some playing time and he had some chances to make some big plays but the QB didn't throw it to him!    :-\
7. You are correct!  My son plays on Pee Wee Purple and I was told PNGYFA purchased the red crosses and handed them out to all the teams playing today, purple or not, to show support for the kids in Kountze!!  Like you said, no matter what colors we wear, together, we are the body of Christ and will support each other 100%!!
8. I AGREE!  Let's quit pointing fingers and MOVE ON!  Our kids are not angels and neither were Manvel's!  We had some issues with PF's early in the season and Coach Faircloth and his staff jumped on it quick and sent a message that it will not be tolerated and it stopped for the most part, until Saturday night when emotions were running high and it got the best of both teams.  Let's celebrate the season we had and look forward to the next.  Our program is moving forward every year, last year we were sitting home on Thanksgiving weekend, this year we made it one game further, THAT folks is PROGRESS!!  I wish no ill will toward Manvel, and I wish them the best the rest of the season.  They are a GREAT football team!  I hope they do make it to the BIG DANCE, because that will be two years in a row that we lost out to a team that played for the State Championship, not bad, not bad at all!
9. I think I'm gonna need some meds  so my family can tolerate me til next year!  :'(
10. I don't have a problem with it either, I just thought it didn't fit with their team.  Yes, we yell Scalp 'em but we are INDIANS...they are Maverick's and use a Indian battle cry? However it's not for me to figure out, if it makes sense to them then that's all that matters.
11. SEE...I told y'all this thread was BAD JU-JU!!!!    >:(
12.
I'd rather be an Indian than a Hokahey!  Whatever that is!
Google it...it's a Soux INDIAN battle cry that means "This is a good day to die!"  Not sure why.a team whose mascot is a wild horse uses a Indian battle cry but our boys fought and "died" like WARRIORS so Hokahey boys HO KA HEY!!
13. Guess I need to get on some meds so my family can tolerate me til then...LOL
14. GREAT season Indians!  Indian Nation is proud of you!  Way to fight til the end!  I really think if we would've kept our cool and not let the smack talk get to us this would've been a different outcome but that's football!  Congrats to Manvel and good luck the rest of the way!
15. Great season Dayton!  Now come on over to Stallworth and help us BRING THE NOISE and send them pony's packing!
