Texas' OL is extremely weak! They haven't been able to hold a decent block in the last 2 games.

Silsbee needs to figure out to play a game with NO turnovers and 3 or less penalties. I just dont understand why they have so many BAD penalties each week. When your backup QB help you get down to the 2 yard line and you push your own self back, it's  hard to deal with as a head coach. These are the issues that will either keep you out the playoffs or have you taking quiet bus ride home in the 1st round. This team has enough overall talent to make a very deep run the playoffs but Silsbee always falls short. It is crazy to think the amount of talent that comes from Silsbee and no state titles in the 3 major sports. Hopefully this group can be different.

Twine is what you call ELITE STATUS!! I say Silsbee's Spearman should finsih in the gold area. If Silsbee goes far in the playoffs he could get 1,400 yards as a soph.

This game will be close until 3rd when Stangs wake up.

Agree! Drake played safety, QB, punter, and kick off man. I would have pulled him off of defense after he had to play QB to give him a breather.

In my opinion this is the same ol book of Silsbee football. I expect 8-3 or 9-3 no further than that. The penalties scare me because this isn't week 0 or 1. 7 week in and this type of performance isnt good. Offense has struggled in the last 9 quarters.

With six interceptions I am still going to say that both QB's played just fine.  I know that what I said might sound stupid, but if you were at the game, you would understand how they happend and why it happend.  Can't justify 6 INT's! Tony Romo threw 4 with 2 pick 6's at the last Cowboys game I went to. Did he play a good game? Our QB has to control wanting to throw in triplle coverage. I agree both are outstanding players but poor decisions made in this game along with penalties caused SHS to lose. They couldn't help but to lose when you drive to the 2 yardnline and push your ow self pack 10 yards on penalties. Like I said Silsbee gave this game away. Currently this is where the points stand with those three teams: Silsbee +2 (8 point win, 6 point loss) BC +6 (6 point win, yet to play Orangefield) OF-8 (8 point loss, yet to play BC) Silsbee (as long as they finished tied with these two teams) are a virtual lock for one of the playoff spots due to them being on the plus side of points after playing both BC and OF(+2). Orangefield would have to beat BC by 7 or more to qualify. ( a 7 point win would give OF and BC a total of -1, with the nod going to OF with the head to head win over BC) BC can lose to Orangefield by 6 or less and still make playoffs. [/quote]
