I don't hid behind a screen name. Ive meet Aggie, Poppabear, SteveNash, and Lazeek at a few games last year. I guess the only way for me to have impact on the game is to ask the Silsbee players to wear their football jerseys in the basketball game.

Make them shot off the dribble, speed them up on the outside shot, break down their press, not allow them to slowly wind up on those 3 point shots etc.... I had to get at least one right huh?

If your 6'6 and you get on a fast break and you don't try a dunk, you need to invest in a pair on jumping shoes. Your already 8/10th of the way to the rim when you hold your hands up!

I disagree! Silsbee has already played one of the toughest non district schedules of any team in Texas as far as 3A. Who else should you play? Yates? Bush? Travis? All those teams could beat Silsbee by 40! Playing Evadale at home on a school night before district is fine. They didnt have a game to begin with. Look at it this way, 20-4A has already started district play, no other 3A local team is worth playing, and Evadale was in Austin last year. Silsbee needed a game to be able to get their second unit some time on the floor. They needed a game where the could actually practice some free throws, defense, and anstrong 9 man rotation into district.

Better than not playing at all I guess. Silsbee needs to continue to practice free throws and their outside shooting has been dismal this year. They will need both of these vs bigger teams.

Good workout for both teams to sum it up!
