Doesnt he have Silsbee ties??? What position will he play? Seems like he has already won over all the big time schools. Cant wait till see him play.

They have made the playoffs pretty consistently over the past 10 years. Some solid QBs out of Huffman. Not sure what to expect this year.

Silsbee vs Jasper is a bigger game than WOS vs Jasper.

Hardin Jefferson has had a few teams who were solid. I remember I made the comment around 2012 that they should cancel their program. Although they never beat Silsbee and I never see thos happening, they have had some good playoff runs. Good luck to them this year. 5-5 at best!

Silsbee-Curtis Buckley. Wasnt a big recruit but played 6 or 7 NFL seasons.

I agree even though his family is all Silsbee. He has his best year in Silsbee.

Silsbee- Patrick Hudson, William Morrisey, Jerermy Johnson, Tre Jones, Patrick Reed, Kaylon Barnes, and Calvin Tyler is who I can think of 1st hand. Who did I miss?

Those Tigers may get off to a slow start due to the loses on defense and schedule, but likeast season, they will be a fine Oil machine come district. I expect a 4-6 round playoff run. Silsbee has a decent OL returning and 2 1000 backs and one 700 yard back. Foster will have an additional year under his belt at QB and I heard Silsbee has kid who is a sophomore who is an elite athlete as well.

I think if healthy, all 3 Silsbee backs go over 1000 yards next year and Silsbee advance to at least the 4th round if not state again.

Lumberton can have all 5 coming back, they wont win district.

Martin has football offers from Alcorn St and a few others. Football will be his sport. He will be a LB at the college level.

We shall see.

Silsbee HJ BC LCM

Silsbee will return Chris Martin 1400 yards, Taylor 1300 yards and Arline 800 yards just in the backfield. Along, with another year u drr Center for the QB Foster, Silsbee should be solid. They did lose alot on the OL and defense which may take a while to get figured out. I expect Silsbee to make at least a run to the 4th round.

I always wonder why kind of shape these kids are in football and even basketball. Not sure if be playing if I have D1 scholarships. Maybe it's just me.
