When I seen the name pop up in the TABC rankings, I knew something was fishy. I thought Deion Sanders had a new school like Prime Prep. I didnt know they would be a le to play in the UIL. Everyone remembers a few years ago when Mark Cuban hand selected an AAU team to play at Bridgeport. 4A is a middle ground I guess. A charter school of 200 has no reason playing in a 4A UIL tourney. They are like a junior college with all the recruiting. I actually hope Yates win to keep the title in Region 3 and shut down the nonsense in Dallas. Yates should combine with Kashmere and go to 5A.

Larger school? Why? Silsbee has played in alln6A Toruneys and gets just as much exposure as others.

I don't think Silsbee will be in the Woodville Tour ey either. I could see Dallas Whataburger Classic, maybe Bulldog Classic, and maybe Gamble Classic. Who knows. I expect them to win district and go back to state myself! Never know what can happen between today and November 2019. Move ins etc.......

I think Silsbee played hard just like Yates. Yates just had a little bit more gas. Game over now. On to 2019/20 season. Silsbee has some kids coming who will be very competitive and I think they could have another shot to right back in San Antonio soon. I would think they will be back at least I the Regional Finals next year. Never know.

Faith Family shouldn't even be in the UIL. If they do win expect them to forfeit just like Madison. Those kids are from all over Dallas. Not just Oak Cliff.

How can a town of 3200 have so much talent to compete at the 4A Level in all sports? Are these kids being pulled in from somewhere else? Job move in kids? Every state football, boys basketball good, and girls basketball. Maybe baseball and soft ball as well. What am I missing here?

Faith Family will beat Yates. They are a charter school with kids from all over Dallas. Those kids aren't all from the Oak Cliff area.
