That was one of the toughest districts in the state. I dont recall any team really being bad. That was the SEC of 4A in Texas 😂😂😂😂. At least in SETX.

Was this district the following schools Silsbee LCM Bridge City Lumberton Nederland Jasper Cleveland I think PNG, Vidor, and WOS were still 5A in 1990.

Silsbee did upset Carthage before back in 1998. That was a blowout win by Silsbee actually. Silsbee has been beat bad by Carthage in 2017, 2020, 2012, and 2013 I do know. To bad Carthage doesn't play much basketball so Silsbee could return the favor.

I dont think anyone said those kids weren't athletic. I think what was said, was that their offense is boring. Which is it is. Teams with a more experienced DL, will make Vidor pass and they will struggle.
