Yes I watch Fox Sports SW on Friday Nights at 11pm. They have a 2hr show and Craig Way is on that show.

What are some key week 1 match up or great games to attend? Any local ranked teams facing off?

I remember the game of the week in 1992 was Silsbee who was like 6-2 going to state ranked #8 Cleveland who was 8-0. I remember it being Cleveland's Homecoming and they had a dang good team. Silsbee won on a big upset like 37-21. Cleveland had maybe 2 or 3 Div 1 kids that year.

This use to come on Fridays and Sundays showcasing all of Texas High School Football. Couldn't wait to see if they would have local teams on there and listen to Craig Way run the highlights.

Besides what we know about United, who are some of the top returning players for this coming season.

Boutte, Sigler, Green, and Sutherland are the best in the area. Coaches coach and players play. Without both, you don't win. Remember when Lebron had David Bla or whatever his name was and Mike Brown. Cleveland never won. Add Ty Lou, they win. Phil Jackson never won a ring without MJ, Kobe, or Shaq. I think Silsbee and United have thr best odds to make it and win state this year. United would have better odds to win vs Silsbee who out have to get out of Region 3 again and play Argyle or FF.

They went 8 deep on the 2nd title. The 3 peat was 6 or 7 deep that's it.

I have just a random question. Out of all the times Newton has played WOS, how many times has Newton won?

I think WOS, Newton, and Jasper could make some deep runs. If Silsbee can win district, who knows how far. Region 3 D2 is deep. West Brook will have a ton of talent coming back as well.
