Does anyone have any stats on the game for Dodd, Miller, and how many sacks did Silsbee have? The defense overall played great. I think they had 4 take aways.

Silsbee will win 30-20. In victory formation. Dodds has to to be close or over 250 yards rushing tonight.

Can anyone provide game stats for both teams. Miller, Brisbane, and Diddy seem to have a heck of night. Why doesn't Silsbee allow the QB to run? I've noticed this under Smith. This dates back to Jones Jr in 2016.

Silsbee missed 2 big opportunities to score in the 2nd qtr i side the Nederland 5 with holding, fumble, and offsides killing those drives. Also Silsbee dropped a pass on 3rd down that hit right in the numbers to score late in the 2nd qtr. Missed opportunities could have had Silsbee up 48-13. For a kid to quit after lose is weak. Get back out there and keep playing. You won't win every game.

Nederland was the favorite and you won. Yo beat a very good but young Tiger team. This game will help Silsbee more than it will help Nederland.

Silsbee coaches made several bad play calls for sure. 1. Playing Prevent Defense?? 2. Going for it on 4th down and not punt in the 4th. 3. Fake punt giving Nederland good field position. 4. Encourage your QB to run. He has speed and is good outside the pocket 5. Players play and Coaches coach. Coach to win not hold the lead.

5A vs 4A???

A mixed bad. It was just a bad 4th qtr overall for the Tigers. Keep building. Distrixt championships and long playoff runs start with games like this. They are young and will keep getting better. Hurts to lose a game like this but you gotta keep building.

Silsbee has had some very very questionable play calling in the 4th. That onside kick for Big Ned was big.

I personally feel, if your a variety football player, you should have thr privilege of having your last name on the back of your jersey. Most guys will never play past high school. Having your name on the back of your jersey is pretty cool. I get get all the "team name on front" crap, but the name of the back is pretty cool too. I know many 6A an 5As do and I think Jasper was one local school that use to.
