I’m not going to lie… I’m not convinced that we’ll actually have midterms. Most likely, but I wouldn’t bet on it. If Trump thinks that the Rs will lose, he’ll stop at nothing to keep the elections from occurring… look at all of the ways he tried to overcome his last loss in ‘20. Do you think he’ll just sit back and say “yeah, they won.. go on ahead and impeach me.” He’s laying the tracks, man. And 90% of his followers don’t care if he stops holding elections, either. That tells you who the real enemy is… the same ones that re-elected him after his election-denying hoax in 2020. My guess is that he’ll use federal powers to curtail voting in blue areas and allow it to occur in red areas, if the voting occurs at all. He keeps saying it out loud and people aren’t listening. “There’s no way that they can win without cheating,” meaning that any election “won” by a Democrat is invalid. He plans to set his family up as a dynasty going forward, Constitution be darned. And people like Reagan and Baddog are like “that’d be GREAT!!! I hope he does!”

Let’s be honest here… can anybody look around and say that the world is in a better place than it was on January 19th, 2025? “Well, at least Kamala isn’t the President” is a dumb answer.

Because the admin wasn’t screwing up! He pulled us out of Bush’s Afghanistan mess like he promised. Was it perfect? Far from it. But which leaders of foreign governments did Biden topple? Which military operation matched the scale of “Epic Folly?” Remind me about the times when masked democrats were given carte blanche to kill American citizens in the heartland? Trump is a screwup of the sort we haven’t seen in generations. I just pray that the democrats get control of at least one chamber of Congress in November so the madness will have some guardrails. Selecting leaders with zero experience based on their MAGA loyalty (Hegseth, Patel, Noel, etc…) is DEI its dumbest. I can’t wait to see what Dump’s new Fed Chair can do to destroy the economy. You should go back and read his history. He was one of the most conservative senators in his four terms. It want until The Republican Party went MAGA nuts that he fell from grace. In short, he doesn’t support Trump as unequivocally as others, so he’s gone.

Congratulations to these three gold star families, who likely aren’t even aware yet that it’s their own family member who perished. It’s the best day of their lives, and they probably don't even know it yet. What an honor so lay such a sacrifice on the altar of Trump’s ego. Iran isn’t going down without a fight. They’re attacking infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, Pakistanis are attacking our consulate there, and Russia says that the US just “untied their hands.” Theres never been a better time for China to take Taiwan while we’re getting hung up in the Middle East. We can beat anybody. We can’t beat everybody. And one thing is for certain… we’re going to pay a price, and it won’t be limited to three unfortunate servicemen.

I’m good with that. What I’m not okay with is the abuse of our government resources. Would Patel have gone to all of these international events if he were forced to buy his own airfare? Absolutely not. It honestly started becoming okay when Trump started flying to Florida every weekend to woo donors at Mir A Lago. The argument was “well, he had his own jet and probably would have been flying around every weekend, anyways. To which I’d say “your job is Washington, Stupid. We’ve got you a nice place there to live in.” But suddenly it became the norm for the president to fly cross county at his whim a couple of times a week, with ALL that goes into that. Support planes, fuel supply secret service, etc… do a little research into how big of a deal it is for Air Force One to make a trip. I’ll give you a hint… it’s a fortune that DOGE avoided looking into. That entitlement has now bled over into his administration. They all “deserve” luxury jets ready to go anywhere they please, for any reason, with no regard to cost, effect on those agencies, the cost, etc. When the shooting happened at Brown, the fbi response was delayed because Patel had one jet off on a personal trip, and another reserved for what insiders say was to transfer a seat team to his gf’s location. Noem keeps buying luxury airliners for the DHS. They won’t be used to transport illegal immigrants, ever, guaranteed. They defend it by saying “it’s way cheaper than using military aircraft, but in reality commercial flights were fine up until this administration. It’s just grift on a scale like we’ve never seen before, and the so-called conservatives are once again fine with it since it’s on MAGA’s behalf. Any upper level executive in America would be fired for doing what Patel is doing, guaranteed.

Travel is excessive. Patel could 100% catch a commercial flight on his own. That’s all he deserves. The FBI swat team to protect his wannabe celebrity gf is just too much. Does every celebrity deserve an FBI Swat team for protection, too? It’s becoming obvious that the civil war in America won’t be conservatives vs liberals… it’s going to be Americans taking the country back from MAGA.

We spent way more than that already today.

In the early 1990s, the world stood with us when we liberated Kuwait from Iraq’s aggression. Should we have finished the job and toppled Saddam Hussein at the same time? It’s a good question, and we ended up back over there ten years later to wrap it up. This time, there’s no Kuwait to liberate, it’s just us and Israel hopping on Iran, and the president can’t even get the support of the US Congress, much less the rest of the world. Considering what Trump just did in Venezuela (kidnapping their leader and pillaging their resources), it begs the question…. Who is Trump going to attack next?
