  1. Thank you for the response. I’ve always been conservative… the Republican party has just moved away from me. It’s not about fiscal conservatism anymore… it’s just tax breaks with uncontrolled spending. They no longer espouse any fiscal restraint or thoughtful reflection whatsoever. The party that jumped all over Bill Clinton for his *gasp* immorality now worships a guy who makes Clinton seem saintly. Unfortunately, the left is no better. They continue to pick the most extreme among them to hold office, and they’re completely out of touch with reality. It’s why the new reoublican cry is to end open primaries in Texas. They want to make sure that independents and moderates aren’t allowed any say in which candidates are selected to run in the general election. They only want zealots. But you’re right about Fetteman… what the Rs offer today isn’t palatable to the general pop… it’s just not as offensive as what the Dems keep offering. it’s not a coincidence that Trump best Kamala and Hillary, but couldn’t beat Biden. Biden was electable, the other two weren’t.
  2. The Houthis in Yemen started firing missiles on Israel today… they’d basically stayed out of this fight until now. The us marine group arrived in the theatre today, too. Trump gave the Iraqis a 10 day extension of our one-sided cease-fire. My guess is that he’s getting all of our ducks in a row before sending in ground troops to seize Kharg Island and possibly to try and open the Strait of Hormuz. We don’t have enough bullet stoppers to pull that off.
  3. Honest question, hippy…. What rule did that break? Was it a personal attack? Vulgar? I don’t think anybody would argue that it wasn’t truthful. Or was it just “Saying something we don’t like?” A few months we were celebrating Charlie Kirk’s life of engaging in conversations with people who think differently than we do. This is kind of the opposite of that.
  4. I think I’d rather be a paid protestor than go to a rally where I had to buy a bunch of Trump merch to fit in and not even get laid. *it autocorrected to “laid” instead of “paid,” but that’s even more true. Nobody is getting any after a Trump rally, lol
  5. Well, this one is for thanking Trump for high gas prices. I didn’t realize you thought we were going to actually be thanking him. Baddog seriously thought we were gonna hold our MAGA hats over our hearts and proudly state: “THANK YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP, FOR GIVING ALL OF US THIS OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN BY PAYING MORE AT THE PUMP, SIR!” While “Hail to the Chief” plays nonstop in the background. It was sarcasm, my man. Jeebus.
  6. I’ve never been banned. You must have me confused with Lumraiderfan or someone else. I know the rules. No personal attacks. No name calling. Don’t badmouth Silsbee. Be very careful when criticizing MAGA. It’s okay to start a thread called “inside the mind of a liberal” and flame on with insults. But if you start one called “inside the mind of a MAGA” you’ll probably get banned. Stuff like that.
  7. The only thing trunp is scared of is the truth being told. Like the fact he not only raped women, but being proven that he raped little girls, too… but I’m sure he can still count on the MAGA vote regardless.
  8. You mean… like trump celebrated Mueller dying earlier this week? I don’t remember your outrage then, but your knickers are certainly in a twist this morning over something one of those mean ol’ Democrats said dat hurt your feelings. “B-b-b-but…Mueller DESERVED it… he investigated an allegation of criminal activity!”
  9. I think it’ll be closer than 7 points. My heart is saying that Cornyn will finish up by two points or so… about the same margin of victory as in the primary. My brain knows that challengers tend to fare better against incumbents in run-offs. The wild card is that Paxton isn’t a typical challenger- people tend to feel VERY strongly about him, for or against. I don’t expect a lot of apathy from the “never Paxton” voters. That’s why I keep coming back to Cornyn as the outright winner. Surprised that Trump hasn’t tried to put his finger on the scale yet. BUT with the ding he’s taking over the Iran War, his endorsement might not be as much of a blessing as before. But I’d also say that Paxton definitely has an advantage with the MAGA crowd, if not universal support from them. It’s a very interesting race. I see this runoff as an early predictor of where the R party is headed. Is it going to be a Republican Party in ‘28 or the MAGA party?
  10. I still doubt the accuracy of this poll, but it’s feasible. That poll that you posted from last week 38% to 57% was just not possible. Nice work.
  11. Our Hispanic friends: “Como su papi naranaja.”
  12. Meanwhile, where is Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R–La.)? On Wednesday night, he announced the winner of "the first ever America First award," a new honor dreamed up by the National Republican Campaign Committee. The prize: a literal golden statue. The winner? C'mon, you already know the answer. Johnson is one of the most powerful people in the government. His position makes him instrumental to solving the problems discussed here. We are at war. Americans are unhappy. And this is how Trump and Johnson are spending their time. Deeply unserious. Embarrassing. Pathetic.
  13. Of course he has 100% MAGA support… they’re the ones that don’t mind his raping/lying/corruption. They’re the ones who believe Trump does no wrong, is the smartest man who ever lived, his fecal matter has no odor, and that he is also the true messiah. I’ve seen postings by many of them on other boards, but there definitely aren’t any of those types posting here. The problem for MAGA that the aren’t nearly as many of them as they believe. Basically put, those voters are about equal in number to the ones who still approve of his performance and always will… they represent just over 30% of all voters. And everybody else is sick of his mess. Trump is in a bad spot at home.
  14. Wuh oh…. Even the crowd at CPAC is calling for Trump to be impeached. Trump never had the left and has lost the middle and center right. All that’s left is the Trumpers. [Hidden Content] Who would have ever imagined that CPAC regulars would turn on Trump? The Trump-Can-Do-No-Wrong crowd is about all that’s left and about to get smoked in November.
  15. It’s all good… I’m going back off and let y'all celebrate all of the “winning” in peace.
  16. We were talking about Trump pardoning Flynn after Flynn pleaded guilty to a crime.. then pardoning Flynn, then paying Flynn a bonus for doing the crime. Which led to discussions about the blanket j6 pardons for crimes the we all witnessed, then into Trump’s pay-for-play pardon racket and how it hurts the victims of the fraudsters who buy pardons from Trump. And the same people were defending all of it.
  17. Here’s the thing Baddog… I talk about my own side-the republicans. You complain about the faults with others. It’s like this.. if I want to lose weight, I start trying to eat less and move around more. A overweight Trump voter would say “so what? There are a lot of people way fatter than me!”
  18. So what about all of the fraudsters that ripped off Americans, were convicted, then made big donations to Trump, then got pardoned. Did they deserve pardons, too? [Hidden Content]
  19. It’s not a jab at anyone. If Cop A knows that Cop B is dirty, but won’t say anything… in fact, defends the Cop B’s illegal behavior because “he’s one of us”…. They’re both bad cops, right? It’s what I’ve been saying all along (for the last two months). A person can’t be a Christian and condone someone’s continued evil, immoral acts. They’re simply not a Christian anymore. If non-racist tolerates someone’s ongoing racist behavior “because he’s a little rough around the edges,” guess what… that person who believed themself to be non-racist is in fact, as racist as the guy hurling the n-bombs. People vote for all kinds of different reasons. Some good, some bad… but when a politician makes it clear that they have no integrity by their personal life, words, actions, etc… but they’re still worshipped by a group of people who justify or overlook any illegal or bad behaviors… those followers have no integrity, either.
  20. Liz Cheney
  21. Integrity? People with integrity don’t defend Trump’s actions and behavior when it’s illegal, unethical, or in bad taste.
  22. I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m guessing that you’re talking about some conspiracy theory in which Antifa or the FBI instigated the whole thing and nary a single Trumper was involved. Except for the ones who had to be pardoned.
  23. So when we all watched the “peaceful protestors” ransack the Capitol, beat Capitol policemen, and do their best to stop the peaceful transfer of power (while dragging a gallows with which to hang Mike Pence), then Trump pardons every single one (calling them “patriots”) of them for crimes which we all watched them commit from multiple camera angles, and will like give a settlement from the treasury like he just did with Flynn. You’re right… it’s a sham. But not in the way that you’re thinking. MAGA is destroying America, not “making it great again.” Go to the grocery store. Buy some gas. Turn on the news. Read a few financial articles. The rule of law is gone. Why would anyone celebrate the president putting his name on dollar bills? Because they’re infatuated with a man that they idolize, worship, and revere. And it’s pathetic that they don’t realize that they’ve become the lowest form of bootlickers that have ever called themselves “Americans.”
  24. The fact that you call J6 a sham proves that it’s not just loyalty on your part.
