Oh that's right.  I can't help but think about the time I had some clients tell me what an idiot Gary Kubiak was.  And how he was a disgrace to the coaching world.  And how the Texans would never have a shot at the superbowl with him as head coach.  Someone remind me please...How did Kubiak do this past season.  I'm forgetful these days.

Maybe , maybe not . But That is why you play the games that are left on the schedule . I spoke about the defense and said that is a major problem, but i guess our kids didnt play their collective butts off cause they won ? Again your not making commentary you were making excuses. I dont care if hamshire scored 40 points off of punt returns, pick sixs , fumbles, fluke plays and no offensive plays. They put up some of the 40 points due too as you said and i quote some "bonehead plays" that kelly made. the key is not too have boneheaded plays cause as you well know they can cost you the game . Score 40-31 i dont care how you score Thats football my man . We are talking football , you are just making excuses for the losing team . They made mistakes that cost them the game . Hamshire has been losing for years after being a good football program from the 70's , 80's 90's and a few years in the 2000's . We havent been to the playoffs since 2003 the longest streak in school history . So im not under any hypnotic spell because we won back to back games and have a 4-2 record we are the best team in the area . The team has a long way to go , i come from an era when you could go 8-2 and miss the playoffs if you lost the wrong games . Nowadays you can get into the playoffs with losing records and get the lights beat out of you in bidistrict or you can do like gladewater and go 4 deep into the playoffs and finish with a 7-7 record . In other words its still 4 games to go and hamshire can lose the next 4 , i just take 1 game at a time so hf won last night enjoy it one more day then its time to move on . Im going say this and im done cause this thread isnt true. No im not a coach, yes im a family member of some that play, yes im friends of some that play. If u attend every hf games you should pretty much know who i am. I dnt knock any rb. I believe wit sam power he should have more tds and yrds and with taylor speed he should too. I have witness harris play his cornerbacks and malone as rb. And one even scored td. So dnt post this thread saying its like king only runs ball. I question harris play calling sometime and when inquired bout it to some players...they run wat coach calls. Some of king scrambles tds weren't exact calls but when no is open, u have ppl all in your face, What u think any qb with speed to escape going to do in that situation. I would hope he would run for a td or try get close to 1st down marker

Here we go with another joker with the "ifs" . Hamshire won the game plain and simple so move on . Like i said before no one said after this hamshire is gonna win a district title or win out . "If" hamshire would have lost the game you say same ole hamshire . well they won the game and you say they should have won by 40 . Now you say "if" this would have happened or "if" that would have happened , well it didnt and they won so lets move on and let the kids enjoy their win for another day and get ready for next week .

Either way if thread is bout two original rb heading into smithville gm taylor had 119 yds and sam 93. 4.5 yd average between two. (According to smithville scouting report on hf) i take king scrabbling all day over that average. Heck Austin/dubois came back off injuries and started same amount gms and is over the original starters 4.5 yd average and td combination. Well last nite harris gave every rb the ball and look who scored and gain more yrds. As for as taylor goes maybe he is lil bang up but its lot hf kids i know are playing injured right now. So why does taylor look mad when he doesn't get to go in. Trust i know harris will play injured players if their good. King had high ankle sprain starting freshman yr...Thats why he wasn't as quick as he was soph and jr yr. And collar bone/arm injury during district his soph yr.

Its no maybe my man i am right they won thus no L but rather a W and that is all that counts . Now having said that no one from what ive seen thinks that hf is gonna go undefeated. Hamshire has major problems on d and still needs other players too step up on offense . Looks like others stepped up last night on offense which was good to see .hf still has a ways to go . But coming into district play with a 4-2 record and a 2 game winning streak is something to hang your hat on . Especially if you have already won 1 more game than last year and the first time winning 4 games in 7 years.

I sure would like to know the whole story. LOL I do know that there are two sides to every story and we will probably never know. LOL God Bless both teams with no injury's. We are going to Thank God if we win and Thank God if we lose.

Ok I have been quiet for a long time (king) is by for a stand out on the field . But I am tired of hearing that he is all we have. We have a good back field and a great O line but on that note if he is all we have then stop him OH WAIT EC YOU CANT ;-)

I wonder when was the last shutout the horns had ? Either way great job on defense to pitch a shutout . Was king tds all rushing ? Did he throw any tds ?

I never criticized them for leaving. That is between them and their parents, none of my business. They have turned into some really good ball players and I have continued to root for them. The academics are top of the line at H-F now its times to get boys athletics back on the map and give the young talent a reason to stay and I truly believe we are headed in the right direction.

Dang, I almost felt bad for Lumberton. Blame your coach for calling a play with a minute left, with the lead, and he calls a play that has the QB pitch to the RB. Terrible call in that situation.

LCM was big up front, but we knew this from last year. HF had some size too. I was impressed with this Longhorn team. They will break the playoff drought this year.

HJ will do good and they were very lucky to get DuBois(good coach).
