3.
I thought for sure it would  have been PNG . The UIL is moving them up to the NFC next realignment.
:D ;D
 4. It would be nice to see them win another championship!
 5.
LCM wins this one
Your brave man... Be ready to get bashed by the PNG faithful...
 6.
From hatethatpurple, LC-M will take there momentum with the 1 point loss to Lake Travis during 7 on 7 and dominate 4A this year.
I only wish... But it's ok. I can see where having one undefeated season makes you unstoppable.. :o
 7. I don't think the Dallas Cowboys would want any of them PN-G INDIANS!!! WHOOO!
 8.
There are several things here that I think LCM should be more concerned about that beating the Disirct Champs  1. You got several game before we come the bear country. 2. Maybe you can contend with a playoff team when you make the playoffs. LCM Bears do not let your guard down cause when the indians come to your house there will be no mercy and you will get to hear cherokee over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over ;D
The game is at the Res this year buddy.
 9. I'm going to be very very VERY disappointed if PNG doesn't go undefeated and win state.
 10.
well seeing how gonzales is going to be a 3 year starter whereas Doty is just a two year starter if i had to pick one or the other i still pick Doty, just my choice seeing as he won more games as a junior!! But it really doesnt matter who is the better one in our minds it will be decided when we face each other in a few weeks. It was a good game last year, and i think it will be a good game this  year.  Even though Harmon had a career game against the bears i think the passing game was there if we needed it, and as for Bertrand well we shall see how he does also when it is his time to shine, just to let you know noone knew that harmon was a stud his junior year because he was playing fullback in front of Josh Wright who was basically a flop his senior year compared to his junior year. So just maybe all you nonbelievers better take head as to what you will soon be chasing up and down the sidelines.
NO it wasn't :D

Im willing to bet my low paying job that if lcm had the line and running game support that png had last year that gonalez would have put up some amazing numbers. With the line and dismal running game at lcm last year(which has much improved)he still did very well. Im going to say this now if the line has improved as much as i have heard then im betting gonzo is mvp of the district.
Gonzales does not impress me
You must be watching a different Gonzales  :D
 12.

I agree with ya about the blowout. People Ive been talkin to are sayin PNG is the real deal this year and will far surpass what they did last year. Im thinkin more along the lines of a 35-0 type of blowout. PNG's defense is gonna be a force to deal with if my "insiders" are correct. Gonna be heck to score on em.
Oh, I don't think it will be that close.  I say, PN-G scores 49 points in the first 3 minutes and 34 seconds, then puts in the band.  Who then plays LCM to a standstill.  Final score 56-7 (tuba player fumbles a snap on the punt, LCM returns for a touchdown).  In fact, I have a feeling all of PNG's games will go this way.  They are simply way too good for any mortal team to compete with. No, seriously though, get over yourselves.  LCM was also in an entirely new system last year, and the PNG game should be during a very important stretch for the Bears.  Fortunately for the Indians, they play this game at home (again).  However, they still better bring their A-game, and don't expect Bertrand to have a video-game like preformance (a la Harmon), especially until you've actually seen him play a varsity game.  And to 19Cherokee90, they are both in the Central time zone, although your misunderstanding of how this works probably stems not from any fault of your own, but from the aforementioned carcinogens in the air affecting the way your synapses transmit signals to each other.
Toasted him... :D
I'm gonna have to call you out on this one, you are either crazy or you weren't at the game if you honestly believe that PNG had their third string O and D in the game at anytime. They were never up more than 7 points except in the first half, and I'm pretty sure no coach in their right mind would pull any starter in a game like that. The ignorance of that post is overwhelming. Maybe if you go take another look at the game film you will notice that no starters were even pulled, much less replaced by the 3rd string? Lol Get your facts straight buddy so you don't embarrass yourself again ;)
first off i never said i was talking about the PNG LCM game. i was talking about the Vidor LCM game so that just throws your argument out the window.
Are you serious? you said... "don't see how yall can even compare LCM to PNG. your talking about a team who went 4-6 to a team who went 11-1. when we played lcm we had our third string offense and defense in there after halftime. personally i think its gonna be a walk away for PNG. I think LCM is up and coming with their new coach they have a 3 year starter at qb which is a big + and a good receiver corp, dont really no about their running game. As Soulja1 said dont really put much stock into 7-7 game it is more a timing tool with QB and receivers and good tool for db to practice covering their man, but until you get 11-11 it dont really mean a dang thing just fun to watch. Ned is iffy with noone really knowing which qb is gonna immerge to take control, injuries have hurt the dogs as of the last few years. Ozen dont know much about  them except that they always have talent according to the bmt faithful, Central always tough  speed speed and speed what can you say, but you can beat speed with discipline and patience, AS for the lions, well you just aint gonna win district with  a running game, you need to throw the ball, have a hard hitting stingy defense, and special teams to boot, sorry just dont see you making any noise ;[ The L train lost their steam for their  engine dont see them in the mix except that they may return to the cellar once again Then last but least their is my ndns, jv went 10-0 also , we have a solid group returning, everyone saying we cant replace Harmon, well hate to tell you but mr Bertrand is gonna be here two years and he will be every bit if not more exciting than Harmon was. Doty has a year of experience under his belt and should be a deep ball threat everytime he throws the ball  but i think it is his short passing game that is his strong point, Defense is where we look the weakest at being that we are looking for all the dbs  but with our coaching staff i dont think that will be a problem. I look for us to be in the mix but as everyone knows 10 - 0 was a terrific accomplishment but being realistic i dont see them doing that again
I'm liking this. LCM's running game will be alot better than last year with a good RB corp, and the defense will step up to stop the run ALOT more than last year, you can count on that! They will still have a couple players going both ways, but with more depth this year there will be more rest time for those players. I say LCM takes 2nd or 3rd in district. The PN-G game will be the test!
Coach Crouch will have the Bears ready to play. They'll be much improved. They gave us a big test last year. And why do you hate that purple?
Because it's EVERYWHERE. Watching the game at the Res was wild
Not sure how many he had against LCM, but he had like 7 yards against us... ;D ;)
Harmon did his thing i must admit. But i say if the Bears can keep the Indians under 150 yds rushing this time then they win. I mean, they did have 3 int's last time... BrenhamFan,  Why is it that you feel the need to hijack threads, and start new threads, with the sole purpose of bringing up that game....yet again. O.K. everyone...Brenham beat PNG last yr!  You can let it go now.  It's a new year.
Thanks for informing me about the year.  Anyways, to answer your question, hijacking wasn't my intention.  I was simply joking, but to stay on topic, Harmon is the only reason y'all pulled out the win last year.  I'm sure Faircloth will have a plan, and y'all have a tough non district schedule to prepare for district this year.  Problem is, the teams PNG play early on are run based teams.  LCM is the opposite, returning a group of receivers and a good QB.  The PNG secondary better be ready.  Success from 7 on 7 should give the bears a boost too.  Only downside, is they have a new DC, but y'all don't meet till 10/22/10, so they will have time to work the kinks out and get use to things.  Should be a shoot out...
You can support more than one but you have to have "A school"?
yeah Skip! what's your alma mater anyways??
 18. I think we should wait a few weeks before making this prediction, just so we know what each team is bringing to the table!
 19. I don't consider Nederland a darkhorse, they've always had a good team and a good win percentage. Teams like Lumberton, Ozen, Vidor and LCM fit that description better. When they do make it to the top, they don't stay for long.
 20. I could see them taking 2nd, especially with the absense of Jeremy Johnson. But watch our for Orangefield, i think if they opened up their offense a little bit and introduced more passing, they could surprise some people!
