no. PAM enrollment has been on the decline since 2009, dropping about 100 students per year. based on history it should decline by close to 100 after this school year. i dont know if PAM will even be 6A depending on the cutoff.
They don't want to play NS and LP anymore ;) ;D
;D heck playing the 20-4A teams would be tougher IMO
If ya'll drop to 4a, BISD would need to open a 4th HS and have all 4 be 4a schools IMO. This would probably help all the area teams out for travel expenses, etc. Each of their schools would be around 1400, which is what most 4a's are in the area. Probably won't ever happen though.
No place for a 4th HS though as far as land, unless they build it on the north end cause them west end people not gonna go for a 2nd HS on that side of town IMO
It would be in northend like old French hs. They have land out that way. BISD won't do it though.

I think Brenham is being difficult on this series. If it's one game, I hope we 10 run rule them. Learning not to care for Brenham very much. I seen and heard some things at the softball series last week that rubbed me the wrong way.
I could say the same about BH, from softball.
Well hopefully one or three game's we send ya'll packing with the softball team and rude fans ;) I still like you though ;D
Good outing. It was a jab at a couple 20-4a fans that were saying 19-4a couldn't do anything against the pitching. 12 k's is great, but if you lose then it doesn't mean much.

 9. According to last year UIL numbers, Lumberton isn't too far off from last year playoff schools. Livingston has less then 100 more students and get in the playoffs a lot. I just buy the numbers game in this district. Talent wise, I do. Lumberton is the 4a version of HJ. The parents blame coaches instead of realizing there's not much talent. My opinion on it.

With that said, I feel like y'all got good coach to go along with the good talent. Central will be tough this year.

 12.
Thanks TradinUp. Y'all are a good up and coming team with a lot of talent. Will make for some good match-ups like this past weekend. For a first year team and getting started a little later then some others, y'all are a strong team.
Thanks, just waiting for everything to come together for us. we've lost several one run games this season. Once the pitching is consistent and errors are cut down, we should be fine. Really enjoyed our game Sunday, sucked we had to play each other first game on Sunday. See ya'll out there next time.

I probably jinxed us now ;D
 14.
I have been a high school coach for many years and have been in good programs and not so good programs, but the one point that is totally overlooked when discussing football programs is enrollment. Lumberton and LCM has been the smallest school in the district and struggled to find sucess, while Nederland, PNG and Vidor are the larger school and are usually the front runners.   When a school like a Nederland has about 2000 students to draw from and Lumberton has about 1,000 the odds are Nederland will have a significantly better pool of talent to draw from.   So the Coach gets the blame and in Coach Cradeur's situation, it is way off the mark. He is a fine man and a great coach, in a tough situation.  He has done a great job at Lumberton and they will miss him. I wish him the best.
Beaumont Central 1840.5 Little Cypress-Mauriceville 1123 Livingston 1143 Lumberton 1087 Port Neches-Groves 1431 Vidor 1398 Beaumont Ozen 1264 Nederland 1478.5
 15. Interesting? Was ranked #1 and win out, but drop to #3? Very strange.
 16. Y'all have good consistant pitchers that work the corners and make it hard for 12 year old batters to adjust. You have some speed and kids that can lay down solid Bunts along with a couple that can go yard. A good solid team. Congrats
 17.
Y'all got the playoff teams wrong.  :D
Enlighten us. LCM, Livingston, PNG, Lumberton? or KP, Humble, NC, Porter, CEK? I watched every BH game last year, and none of these 19-4a teams were in the same league. Remember, the playoff teams last year were all young in 19-4a and have most of their teams coming back. KP could possibly give some trouble, but don't see it. 20-4a, maybe a LCM or PNG (if they can get it done with all sophs on varsity)
 18. I'm not busting on Lumberton, but I watched them last year against BH and it wasn't pretty. If I remember right, the team continued to fight through the year, which would be hard for anyone that was losing every Friday night. I remember Lumberton playing some close games in district and continued to fight to the end. You don't keep that motivation with just anybody, but Credeur kept them boys motivated to play hard the whole year. Just last year showed me he was an awesome coach. Good luck coach!
 19. Early prediction for playoffs! Ned (D1 #1)  Vs. Dayton (D1 #2) Central (D1 #2) vs. SC (D1 #1) Ozen (D2 #1) vs. BH (D2 #2) Vidor (D2 #2) vs. Crosby (D2 #1)
 20.
The main reason we can't keep any coaches is other schools pay their coaches more period.
I could see that being the reason assistant coaches leave, but for a head coach to leave and if rumor is true to be the OC at Vidor? I have a feeling it's parent politics just like the majority of today's school districts. I don't remember coaches leaving schools so much 20 years ago, but maybe I'm wrong. I think it's the norm in high schools across Texas, just some are more then others. Sad deal.
 21.
Just an early prediction to get everyones blood flowing. ;D Serious though, SC, Crosby, BH, and Dayton were young last year. Vidor loses all world QB/LB, Ned will be tough, and who else in 20-4a? PNG still a year to two away, Livingston wasn't a good playoff team, maybe Ozen or Central?
LUMBERTON RAIDERS :)
;D

We open with Ned in The Den and after we travel to Willis for our layup we go to BH, get Dayton at home and bookend it with SC in Turner. Call me crazy but I think we beat Ned at home in the opener, hammer Willis and BH and squeak by Dayton in Crosby. If we have any sort of defense we could be 4-0 playing SC for the district title week 5. We also get Kingwood Park at home this year. I'm predicting 9-1. Crosby's schedule [Hidden Content]
They (Nuevo Leon) had some decent athletes last year and good size. I see BH beating Crosby this year. ;) P.S, the schedule was for two years with same teams. We'll see what Gauge does after this year with pre-district. I heard Katy and Aledo ::)
Last year we won by 18 with the 2nd team in the last half of the 4th quarter. That's with a long td run called back for two players hand-fighting and and Singleton dropping one in the endzone after he beat the Eagle defenders by 15 yards. Should have easily been 49-17, and don't forget the td y'all got before the half was on a broken play Denny just made a great play out of. Austin is averaging 165 ypg rushing and his brother is averaging 102.5 in the two previous meetings between Crosby and BH. Throw that in with one of the top 20 receivers in the state and y'all are in a world of trouble. I predict BH sets a new attendance record and everyone is there to see them go a resounding 0-1 to start district play. I know Dayton fans say it every year Tradin but . . . we're loaded this year. ;)
Agree, ya'll will be loaded this year, but I still have to hope we can pull it out against ya'll. BH may surprise some teams. I don't think we match up well with ya'll or SC, but I think we might get a "w" against Dayton. That's why I predicted 7-3 with a possible 8-2. I do see atleast a 3-1 or sweep against 20-4a this year in the playoffs though ;D
I thought when you moved out of PNG you would leave the peace pipe alone.  :)
Just an early prediction to get everyones blood flowing. ;D Serious though, SC, Crosby, BH, and Dayton were young last year.
