1. Proud of Raines. Good people right there.
 2.
Foreman @ Central. he already has the athletes to be successful as long as they buy into his program.
What he said^^^^^^^ Haynes at Lumberton only has to win one game to turn the program around. If he makes the playoffs then I would say Haynes did the best. Time will tell if we start hearing "L-Train" on the forum.
 3.
A young energetic coach will use lumberton as a stepping stone, in and out if hes successful. Just like Haynes did when he was young and energetic and left to go to 5A Clear Lake.
Kind of like BF at PNG. ;)  Don't know until you try.
 4.

Katy Tigers
I think you are basing your opinion on more recent history.  However, Katy did win a Class A State Championship in the 1958 season, I believe.  Can you believe that - Katy with a single Class A High School when they have a whole district of 5-A schools now.  :o
[Hidden Content]# Basing it off of atleast the last 25 years and spurts before that. 70-15 playoff record since 1980. Katy has been strong for a while. Look at the stats. Most of their state champioships are in the 2000's, but this is already the 13th year in the 2000's. That's why I said Katy. ;D
 5. If I was a Lumberton resident, I would of been hoping for a young energetic coach to build a program. Hope it works out for them with this hire. Nothing against Haynes, but just don't see a big upgrade.
 6.
BG, I am a Nederland homer, but the question addressed best programs across the big 3 sports...hard to argue against Nederland...just this past season, DC in football and baseball...regional finalists in football, 3 rounds deep in basketball, and the same in baseball...the year before saw another football DC, a basketball DC and a playoff baseball team...Nederland has had some outstanding success across other sports as well
It doesn't say the three big sports. It just said sports.
 7. When you add the less recognized sports as well, then I would say PNG, Ned. Soccer, Golf, Volleyball, Softball, along with baseball, football, and basketball. Track is another story, but if you add the majority of those sports then I would say those two for that area.

Angleton, Navasota, PAM.
Navasota isn't that big of a school they are 3A...
Good program though.
Not close to the same athletes though.

I mean its on the internet so it must be true.... right??? hehehehe
;D
 11. Kind of like 4 teams making the playoffs in every sport ;)

 13.
I thought maybe BH would play at UH or Rice. Why memorial? Nice stadium and field but it is small....
Not sure, but got it off of the school website. Means more HR for BH maybe? ;D
 14. Barbers Hill vs, Foster 1st Game:  Spring Branch Memorial High School, Thursday, May 23 at 7:00pm 2nd Game:  Spring Branch Memorial High School, Friday, May 24 at 7:00pm 3rd Game (if necessary):  Spring Branch Memorial High School, Saturday, May 25 at 2:00pm
 15. Region 3 is by far the best region this year in baseball. With that said, whoever comes out of it may be wore smooth out by the time they get to Round Rock.
 16. Most leagues won't let you on the field unless it's a sanctioned game. West End LL may be different. I know there's a lot of practice fields around there. To answer the specific question, I'm not sure, but I do know there was a bunch of teams from 7u-13u in this weekends tourney. It's probably something they have worked out with West End for overflow if too many teams are in it. More money for the local economy.

 21.
For news aroundthe bracket :) I read in the Chronicle that  Tomball dropped thier first game 8-6 VS FB Ridge Point last night.
Wow! Tomball is always good, but Ridge Point is an up and coming school in Sienna Plantation. They will have some good sports teams now that they have a year of varsity for a new school under their belts.
