Just checked with Vidor ISD,,.... All Vidor Pinto Cubs were held out of school today for mandatory batting practice...I tried to enter hitting facility last night and was quickly turned away by security..these Cubs are serious!!!!

The hats have become alot more better looking..When I first started they were them old blue 1982 style..The ones now are nice looking.

Wow, sounds like there is some real pressure on the Vidor All-Star coach (whoever that turns out to be).Seriously, congrats to all the teams that are still in--quite an accomplishment for Vidor.

There is extra tight security at the Vidor Pinto Cubs  hitting facility this week ,due to the Directors tourney. As of Monday morning there will be 24/7 security monitoring it and no visitors (non Cubs),no cameras ,no video, and no player interviews this week. The Cub coaches are very serious and taking a business like approach to the tourney. These guys mean business!!!! ;D

What are the times for the games in Orange today?

The first one begins at 6pm, but all they have to do is get two outs or the home team has to score 2 I believe to win the game.

(very good game ) and then Vidor Reds vs Vidor Astros at 7pm.

Competition is the best way to get 100% out of your players.

There are four Vidor teams playing in Orange on Monday, they will be facing eachother.(2 will be eliminated). In TC there are two (Vidor)teams left ,but they both could advance to Orange Tuesday if they win.

  So yes out of the 8 teams remaining 6 are Vidor teams.

Games were rained out

There is two Vidor teams playing eachother today in Orange at 2pm. (Pirates vs Mets)

  The other game has us (Reds) facing Vidor Astros at 4pm.

      In Twin County Vidor Rangers play at 2pm and the Vidor Yankees play at 4pm.

Tournament starts on Saturday, May 9th and PA is the host.  I am assuming that games will be played at PA, Groves and Orange as they were last year.  Maybe THEGOAT will have some insight as to where the games will be played.

As far as the quality of the TC teams go I would say that the Rockhounds, Storm, Express (My team), Lugnuts and Red Wings in that order.

Both Baker boys have hit homeruns this season for the Rockhounds.  Those are the only two homeruns at TC this season.

Your boy will go yard soon . . . just relax.  We have had one kid and a couple close.  Cubs, however, are struggling right now. 

and the sandbaggin begins!!!   ;D

If you were watching then you would know we were not sandbagging (speaking of the Cubs).  However, we did look much better last night.

Let me renew my earlier prediction on the other thread.  Vidor Angels will be very dangerous.   And the Vidor Astros, Cardinals, White Sox and Twins (if they enter) will not be pushovers.
