    A "W" means a win ..and a "L" means a loss. Never seen a comment section out beside these two letters.

       "We lost, but we didn't play our best". Or "We won, but we looked horrible so it could have been more points".

    Either you got it done, or you didn't.

      Apparently WOS got it done.-Congrats

    Hats off to Kirbyville on a hard fought game..And much respect to Coach Alvarez for going for two..You have to respect that..

    TEAMFIRST, I have decided,  if your not a Vidor Hater, You must be a miserable S.O.B,  You have said nothing but negative comments towards this Vidor team.  They are young men giving their best every Friday night, just like all the other teams.  May I suggest, if you don't have nothing nice to say, then say nothing at all..

    There is only one 7th grade team, they won 33 - 0 over Vidor 7th grade.

    8th grade has an "A" and "B", so it must have been Vidor 8th grade B that beat C.O. Wilson B.

    Vidor has 5 junior high teams:

    7th , 8th North A , 8th North B, 8th south A , 8th south B

    The team that beat C.O. Wilson 28 - 0 is Vidor 8th South B. (all 8th graders except there backfield)

    The 7th grade does not have a chance because the Vidor coaches took all their best players and put them on 8th grade teams. They do not work with the 7th graders at all !

                                         

    That is a LIE sir, and you know it..I along with 4 other volunteers along, with 4 paid coaches are out there everyday.

    I challenge you to come meet me out there everyday between 4pm and 5:30 pm to see me not working with the 7th grade.I took off work early Tuesday night just to be there with them on the sideline during there game. So anytime you would like come on down and introduce yourself. Those 7th graders that you say we don't work with, half of them were on the 8th b team that shutout the c.o.wilson team. Yes there are other 7th graders that need alot of work..BUT they are young and they are trying. But dont get on here and run your mouth about something you apparently know nothing about ,or something you would rather lie about.

      I take away from my sons team and my other obligations so there will be enough coaches down there coaching. Come on down and introduce yourself.Heck I got an idea ,.Volunteer YOUR time somewhere and try to make a difference..

    I would say 42-13  with that huge line.

    ::) ::) this is the most dumbest post I have read in awhile.You are probably aren't even from Vidor.

      the people from Vidor are not like this guy at ALL..He has 5 posts..get real man..All you are doing is stirring the pot..

    We think we have a good team with alot of experience..We like our chances this year and that's it.. No predictions,no guarantees,just alot of excitement..That's it..

      If you want to stir the pot ,stir it with your own school..

    No excuses here..They out played us.Very physical. Our QB was out prior to game with broken arm..Our back up QB came in and broke his hand.

      and Believe it or not,our back up to the back up, came in and broke his arm.

    Out of the original starting 3 running backs we have one left. tough blow to us,but we will have to suck it up and get it done..

    when you say "energy drinks" are you meaning Gatorade and Powerade?  I know that is probably a stupid question but I really need to know.  I send my son to practice with a big Gatorade or Powerade drink and do the same for gameday.  If this is not what he needs, then someone, please, tell me because I don't want him to get hurt in anyway because of the heat.

    No Gatorade,Powerade are good...I am referring to Monster,Redbull all them drinks like that..Basically all that is ,is sugar..It gives you a quick high but not hydrate.

      Powerade,Gatorade,WATER are all very good..drink the day and night before.I try to keep mine away from cokes the day before.

    I can't help but notice that the moderators cleaned the posts up a little. I have to say that I am going to miss the humor NewIndian and SportNut bring to the day so don't censor them out completely. They are like the Archie Bunkers of this site... You don't agree with much of what they say but you don't want to see their shows get cancelled either. 

    I am all for good fun and a little trash talking.But the arguing,and all the personal attacks is what I was referring to. I am all for predictions,and  I told you so's..but just person to person attacks is what we dont need here..especially when a person signs in and has one post and then cancels his account because he is a coward.. newindian is a unique individual..well....I will leave it at that..I have to practice what i preach.. ;)

    I am not coming here to trash any coach or kid or team.  I just think it is kinda fun to try to predict some of these outcomes.  Last week I went 7-1.  Not bad, if I do say so myself.

    LUM - WHITE        over     OF

    NED - WHITE        over     BMT - GOLD

    BMT - BLUE          over     NED - GOLD

    VIDOR - WHITE     over     PNG - PURPLE

    LUM - RED            over     LCM

    WOS - BLUE over    PNG - GREY

    Really tough to predict:

    KOUNTZE              over     NED - BLACK

    VIDOR - BLACK over     PNG - WHITE

    Game of the Week:

    WOS - WHITE       over      BC

    Now, it goes without saying that any team could beat any other team any week.  These predicitions are not meant to provide bad feelings or Bulletin Board material.  Just us old farts having a little fun.

    I like it ....keep em' coming.. so who wins Vidor black or PNg white..? Dont be bashful... ;D

    If betting were legal and I don't think it is, then I would have suggested that we bet $50 on the WOS/Nederland football game, and the loser has to donate the $50 to setxsports for the server in the name of the winner. But I would only have suggested that if it were legal.  ;D
