I will be at an 11-Yr Old All-Star game and will hate to miss the Horns taming some Tigers!

I turn everything off and dont read any texts when I DVR anything. I actually canceleld our practice today..wings and beer tonight!

He was game 2 MVP also.  Game 2 was a good one. S.Miss came back after being down 6 to 1. ended up winning 7 to 6. USM will play winner out of TCU and Texas .

  1.Orangefield will have to fill a head coach spot with less then two months to go before football season.It will be atleast late June or July before they find someone.which will leave about a month to get ready for football season.The new head coach won't have all his asst. in there who he wants, and it will be a long tough year for the Cats. and it might not be who they would really want due to short notice.

  2. He don't go ---and all year long his whole staff ,players and fans  will have in the back of there minds that there coach was looking to go somewhere else.

            Regardless Orangefield will be looking for a new coach in the near future.

IF it's true, they would be getting a whole new staff of coaches too, a lot of asst. are leaving this year as well.

IF it's true , they better hurry they don't have much time..next week will be June...not alot fo time to bring in and interview coaches who fit into your scheme..regardless who takes it if he leaves then the first year will be tough for the bobcats..

  Even if he dont leave this year it looks like he will be gone by next year.

If it is true, who would want to go over there with only two months to prepare, and none of your "coaches" in there who you picked? It would be a rough first season

 

I don't know who was playing the late game,but it was LOUD.. I had a game on the front field (Mustang) and all I heard  was non stop excitement.

I wanted my game to end early so I could come and watch..Good Luck to the teams still left.

I might be wrong but, I believe BC has kids from ,Orangefield, WOS, LCM  and BC. and another thing is Vidor has a little league that it is not as strong as PONY, but still it takes kids away. I think BC has more of a larger area to choose from.

I think the all-star teams to be  from vidor little league would question your statement that their league isn't as strong. There may be a few more kids in vybl but i would say the talent is comparable. Although we do let every kid play every game.

I wasn't  trying to say anything negative about Vidor LL. I was just making a comment about the numbers.I apologize if you took it that way. And we also let every kid play every game, and all the way to pony we bat the line up not just nine.

Just because you have the most wins DOESN'T mean you're the best coach.  In Orangefield, our Little Dribbler All Star coach is voted on by all the coaches.

Doesn't mean you are NOT the best coach either. For as long as I can remember the coach that won the league got to be the all star coach. In my opinion in gives incentive to do a better job coaching the kids, to have practice and to work hard. I like the idea of the coach that wins the league having first option to coach the all-star team.

No not yet, Piratefan is just being a true moderator, sometimes school room discipline does not work with grown men.  Kind of like a Jimmy Carter or Nelson Mandela, we'll have to see how the other side sits down at the table and if they will smoke the peace pipe.

lol.... I look at it like I cracked open a beer and I offered one to yall.We can all sit down and drink a cold one  and relax.It don't have to be the way it was..It shouldn't be US against Yall.. It's just all of us enjoying the site the way it should be.

Pirate, sometimes all it takes is communication and understanding.  We all have difference tolerance levels.  For bashing, screaming, arguing, debating whatever the case may be, we are different.  

One of you mods one time made a very good point and it stuck.  They wrote "if you are going to write something then write it with the intention that would be what you said to the person if they were in front of you."  (Or something similar)

Respect is a 2 way street and while it is true people hide behind screen names and sometimes are not accountable, I have seen bad behavior from both sides just as you have.  

A lot of guys do know each other on this board and that is what makes it unique than other boards on this site.  You can cut up with friends and will take more crap from friends than you would from a stranger.

I agree... I dont agree with alot of things, but making a thread everyday about the same stuff dont help anything at all. Just my two cents.I know you guys know eachother on here and yall talk alot amongst your self.Things got out of hand for awhile and then things started getting deleted.

  My opinion both sides are guilty.But if we let everyone cool off and quit making threads about stuff then things will get back to normal.

 

I agree pirate. The good thing for some mods the other threads are staying on topic and not getting hijacked, so just let the other threads go. No harm and everyone is happy.

I have stayed out of all of it.I met alot of good people on here .and we talk alot  and some times get off topic.But if both sides cool off and let things cool down then everyone will be happy. But everytime someone brings something up whether they are right or wrong, all it is doing is opening up old wounds and making things worse.If both sides have a couple days peace treaty things will get back to the way it was.Hopefully...this site is too good to let small things ruin it..

On deleting of threads, I will assume no rules are being broken because there are no warnings,bans,etc...

So I would assume threads are being deleted because someone just doesnt care for the subject. At least the other post are staying on topic, so why not leave the rift raft alone on there threads as long as no rules or being broken. Just dont read it.

I agree.. I dont think the whole thread should be deleted.I think of a person breaks a rule then they should be warned personally.

Tell you buddies to quit deleting threads against forum policy.  You lock and/or send to deleted threads. 

there have been many threads written that did not involve discussion of moderators but yet they are deleting threads.  Hence the deleted threads topic.  What came first the chicken or the egg?  Why don't you ask COOP how deleted threads are supposed to be handled.  Or maybe even the big DAWG.
