I have to hand it to you Dove, you are relentless. ;D [/quote] There were no 1 percenters in the decision making process but rather a group of coaches and administrators who are average joes.  But I do understand how good that sounds to you.  AS for additional proceeds, I suspect all if not more than all of the incremental gains will go toward renting the facility and paying for the security.  But if the schools did come out ahead a little, arent all of you good Dems in favor of more $ for education anyway?  And could you please calculate the additional fuel costs that will be incurred by those who attend?  You also might want to refer to the board regarding the games last year where every Tom Dick and Harry ( yep, the same guys who will have to go that horrible extra expense) were complaining that they couldnt get into the game and it ought to be moved.

Yeah, right.  All we have to do, then, is to define a "fair shot"  Seems like paying no taxes and getting government assistance is considerably more than a fair shot.

I once saw Glen Big Baby Davis "blow by" Dwight Howard but am pretty sure it was the exception rather than the rule.

[/quote]Thats why I can't understand (actually I do) why you are pulling for a new venue. ;D [/quote] I wasnt pulling for it ( because I am a heartless and selfish one percenter who wants to have the entire gym to himself and deprive other deserving individuals of a place a the game-)But I decided that the mutual decision by the two schools was a judgement that would be superior to mine.  What do you think about doing this:  When people enter the gym, the upper 50% of wage earners pay the admission for the lower 50% so that everyone gets a "fair shot"
