  1. That would be interesting. I don't think poor Hooks would be able to do much with the bad hip.
  2. Wasn't the schools that received our Robin Hood money suppose to return this money? I thought that a judge ruled that this was unconstitutional and we were suppose to get money back.
  3. I agree with you totally. I will go further than that and I know most won't like me saying it, but I don't care...the truth is the truth. Wo-s has become too black, they don't feel black people deserve nice things. If half of these same people who voted no to this had a vote for the same thing to place at Lcm, then they would gladly vote yes...and that's the truth. They get a new scoreboard donated by people in Orange and haven't won anything on the football field, but the Wo-s players can't get anything???? this is totally pathetic.
  4. Probaby because Wo-s will move more players up to Varsity for the playoffs, so they are moving Freshman with J.V. Your Freshman can still play our Freshman, just tell them to join your J.v.
  5. Britton Lindsey plays runningback and he plays defense. I'm not sure what position he plays on defense, but he is very good.
  6. I did early voting, which I have never done and I voted for this. I saw that you put in another thread that this would cost tax payers less than 4 dollars more a year. I think maybe the school district should have done a commercial or took out an add in the newspaper and told people that because I don't think many people realize that it will cost that little. I hope it passes.
  7. Unfortunately we can't help who we have to play, but I agree with you to a point. It can work the other way around too if you have a tough hard fought game. Your more prone to get people hurt and go into the next game bruised up and tired. It can work against you both ways. I much rather us have a easier game than to have us playing against another good team where we're beating each other up. We will have enough of that if we face Giddings.
  8. They won't score 21. You have to have more than a decent scheme to do that... I don't think they will score 14.
  9. Yeah, we're going to watch your team get whipped like they normally do. Who cares what your Freshman did last year...you won't win this year. I don't know why other teams fans come on here and talk trash to Wo-s...they must like what crow taste like.
  10. I don't know if I'll go that far to say he's better than Deon...he's definately a good player though. We have a couple players that should be on Varsity as Freshman this year. I think our coaches like to give them a year to get them on the weights to help their bodies get use to playing on that level. The only Freshman I've known for them to put on varsity was Qb Eric Anderson...who was our starting Q.b and Adrien Steen who was our starting runningback. By the way, Adrien Steens son plays on our team this year, but I think he plays mostly defense. You never know though, they might put Britton on Varsity, but I would be surprised if they do. He looks like an eighth grader...he's small so they might want to give him a year to develop.
  11. Sometimes it's best to not have all the superstars so other teams don't know who to key on.
  12. Just another thing that was made up to say something negative about Wo-s...we should be use to it by now. By the way, I didn't think it was direspectful what OF did...we don't sweat the small stuff at Wo-s. We're more concerned with what happens when our team is on the field.
  13. If they meet again, I think Wo-s wins. As someone said though...it's a chance Giddings goes D1 this year. I for one hope we get to play them again this year. I saw on another message board where one of the Giddings fans said that Giddings hope that they go D1 to avoid Wo-s and Waco Lavega...they feel D1 is an easier road for them. I think some of the Wo-s players would like a rematch cause I heard them talking at the J.V game last week.
  14. Well, I think Wo-s will work on their passing game alot in this game because we're set with the running game. For the record B.C. don't think we are just trying to run up the score when we do that...it's just that the part of our game that we need to work on the most is our deep passing game. I think we will do more passing in the first half, then if the game is out of hand early...you'll see us try different running plays with different people. We have to get everybody in the game in case God forbid we suffer an injury or two so that everybody will be use to running the plays anywhere on the field.
  15. Also, look out for Rb Darius Robinson for Wo-s. He's still on J.v. only because we are loaded at Rb on Varsity with the Garrett brothers and his brother Kevin Robinson. His brother has one more year also, so we'll be seeing two more brothers in the backfield next year.
  16. Yeah, also James Haynes and Stephen Cook for Wo-s. Wo-s is always loaded with so much talent that the underclassmen don't get to really show what they can do until they are about Juniors or Seniors. Roderick Simmons is also a very good one. He's showing what he can do already after only playing about three Varsity games. Is Trey Franks hurt? I noticed he was on the sidelines in street clothes for the Jasper game and I don't think he played in the Orangefield game either.
  17. They play him all over the place. He plays Qb, WR and he plays some on defense. They brought him up from the J.v. maybe two or three games ago.
  18. The J.v Qb your talking about name is Reggie Garrett, he's a Freshman and I don't think he's related to the other Garrett boys. He's very talented...reminds me alot of Deon Beasley. I say again though watch out for Freshman Wr Mark Roberts. Teams are constantly having to double team him in games and he still is a lock for two or three touchdowns a game. When the eighth grade runningback Britton Lindsey gets to high school next year, look out for him...he is the real deal. I doubt if they put him on Varsity as a Freshman cause that's rare at Wo-s, but he will definately be something to deal with as a Soph. Wo-s has alot of talent in their underclassmen. You can even look at the 11 and 12 year old Mustangs who has only given up like 6 points this season and just blew past everybody. The Little Mustang flag football team won the Superbowl today and the remaining three Junior Mustang teams will be playing for the Superbowl next weekend...just talent even with the small children.
  19. It would be really dumb on Giddings part to ask a team who doesn't have many athletes to be able to execute any plays against Wo-s. How can you measure how successful you would be running certain plays against Wo-s by using Orangefield to try and execute them. They would have been better off contacting Bay City a team that actually had the athletes to execute something. If this is true, then it seems like there is a little worry and desperation going on in Giddings country. lol

  21. I got a better idea. How about teams tie their shoe strings together and play maybe Bc will give up only 30 points a game instead of sixty. I doubt if Bc is much better next year. Giving up almost 60 points a game is from more than youth...they are just not very good. It will take alot more than a year to fix what's going on over there.
  22. When will you ever score 70 on anybody? You certainly will never do it against the top teams in 3A.
