  1. yeah, you being one of them after seeing the comment about things getting ugly for Wo-s against Gilmer. You base that on seeing them play teams who might be 100% worst than Wo-s. You never know until you step on the field. I hope that somehow we can meet them in the playoffs, I would like to see an exciting playoff game, but the game might go the opposite way than you said.
  2. 20 Fumbles - 13 Lost Fumbles = Close Games Yes, but what you aren't realizing is that you did all those turnovers against the worst teams in the district...that's why you were still able to sqeak out those victories. You make those kind of turnovers against Wo-s it's a blowout, I mean to the point that people will wonder if your better than Hf or Hj because they will put the same amount of points against you as they did them. Wo-s is a very quick strike team this year...you can't make mistakes and put there offense on the field. Wo-s haven't punted the ball since like early September...they scored evertime except for when they kneeled on the ball to kill the clock. I know a couple of those teams wasn't very good, but if you can go all those games without punting then that means that your offense can do some things.
  3. I think this is alot of wishful thinkin on your part. First of all, you have to be able to pick up first downs to be able to eat up the clock and that will be extremely hard to do against this years team. This isn't the undersized line from last year. I keep hearing people talking about a size advantage...we have some big guys on our line this year as well, that's why we are shutting down the running game of most teams. Dayton had a pretty big team too and one of the best running backs in the state and he only got about 50 yards against us. And as for the Wo-s is gonna get hit by some very large bodies comment all I will say to you is, You can't hit what you can't catch...alot of teams have had to learn this the hard way because they went into the game with that same mentallity, because they saw how Wo-s was able to be ran on and kind of pushed around on the lines last year. I gaurantee you, this is a whole different defense and the offensive line has some strong guys. Most of these teams by the second quarter have changed there opinions about that when they're bending over gasping for air after having to chase these fast players around. I sure hope your Qb can run up the middle consistantly because teams never have much success against us running to the outside. Our Linebackers and safeties are too fast. I've watched some of these games this year in amazement, wondering if teams even watched film against us because seems like every team wants to try and run wide...it can't be done...not consistantly.
  4. Doesn't Silsbee have turf also?
  5. If Silsbee couldn't get 24 points off of Hf defense, I just don't see how they are gonna get it from the best defense in the area. Not unless Wo-s makes an enormous amount of turnovers.
  6. But in the first quarter???I could see if you said the third quarter, but you don't want to get your team in the habit of giving up early. You want to teach them to fight back even if it seems you can't come back.
  7. I think this will be a really close game. I think a turnover will decide it.
  8. I want to say Lcm, but I don't know if they have actually improved or that PNg and Ozen are that bad. Lumberton have improved, because they use to get blown out by everybody, now they're atleast staying close.
  9. We pulled most of the starters out after the first quarter???...now that's a new one. Your coach must be an idiot then if he did that and totally gave up on his team. You could have had every starter from this year and last year...you wasn't gonna score...you were totally outmatched, 4 players wasn't gonna help you at all usless the 4 players was. Vince Young at quarterback, Ladanian Thomlinson at running back and T.o and Steve Smith at the receivers.
