1.
How many does Gage have at BH? When he wins one there, it will be relevant.
Amazing how you continue to hijack the BH threads.......never saying anything but crap and smack.  You must be Price's cousin.
 2.
More important than records and game plans, when the kids come off the field for doing something good, they are met by numerous coaches hugging and high-fiving them for encouragement.  When you do something wrong, you get coached, not yelled at from 20-yards away with no point in your sarcasim.  Point being, the days of Don Price are thankfully LONG GONE.  I have yet to see a kid walk past the coach ignoring him, as would happend every game when Price was here. Give me an AMEN!
AMEN!  The enthusiasm and positive attitude of this coaching staff is GREAT!  When they need to correct kids they do so in a way that doesn't belittle them......they point out what they did wrong and then COACH them, not humiliate them!  My son has told me more than once that the difference between the DP days and the RG days are like night and day.  I am a Gage fan all the way!  Oh....and one more thing.....Gage gets the importance of building relationships with all programs at the school.  He has incorporated honorary captains from the younger campuses.  Kids are selected for good behavior and a positive attitude and get to come out on the field for the coin toss.  Also, I don't know if anyone noticed, but the football boys stayed to watch the band perform after the game last Friday to show support for their upcoming marching competition.  He also had the seniors deliver cold treats to the band one day in August when it was really hot.  Bottom line, Ronnie Gage is a class act all the way!
 3.
Didnt don price coach bh to an undefeated season in 06 only to get beat im the first round. I hear people wrag dp fact is his record stands for itself im pretty sure he got bh to the playoffs every year. Let gage accomplish something before you put him above price
Gage has TWO State Championships at the 5-A Level at Lewisville High School in the Dallas area........Price doesn't have one at ANY level.
 4. Prayers of support for this family from Barbers Hill.
 5. Very impressive win tonight by the Eagles!  Great job coaches in preparing the game plan.....and thumbs up to the boys for executing!  Excellent BH crowd and support for the boys in blue!
 6. Nice posts from the Dayton fans.  You guys have consistently had the most impressive football program in this area over the past 10+ years, so this was definitely a big win for us.  There truly is much respect for your success and the efforts of your boys.  I wish you well for the remainder of the season.
 7. Dayton Fans had lots of hope, But when the game was on the rope, I looked across into your stands, But most were gone they had already ran!! We can, We Will, We’re Barbers Hill We put on quite a show Today my heart is filled with glee To know Tyrone is eating crow! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

 9.

One of the best parts of the game was when it was announced that one of the BH players brothers had just touched down from Afganistan safe and sound.  It was the loudest I heard both sides cheer. ;D
This brought chills to everybody that I was around in the stands, the only thing better was on the next play that #3 the brother made the tackle on the kickoff return. The young boy should feel on top of the world, hope him and his brother are having the best time of their life tonight. It does not matter what kind of rivalry is taken place when a US SOLDIER makes it back home safe and sound everybody has deep feelings for our guys and gals fighting for our Nation. Great game guys. I do have black feathers in my mouth!!! (CROW)Good luck #3 tell your brother thank you for his work!
Nice post.....I agree about both sides acknowledging the efforts of our Armed Forces.  Hats off to both sets of fans for putting it all in perspective!
 10.
All things being said about your coach the one thing I do like is the deep intensity he instills in your players !  They were tenacious and brought the wood to my Bronco's !  I hope we learned something from this game . Go Luck to BH in the playoffs !
I have no idea why there have been ANY negative quotes about Ronnie Gage.  He is a man with a tremendous amount of integrity and passion for the game of football.  He has coached TWO 5A State Champion Football Teams while at Lewisville ISD in the 1990's, and he is in the Texas Coach's Hall of Fame.  If you talk to anyone in the Dallas area where he coached for more than 30 years, you will not hear ONE negative word from anyone.  He loves the kids he coaches and is committed to teaching them more than just how to play the game of football.  He is teaching them to be good men.  He expects his staff to show the same level of dedication that he expects of his team.  He loves his family and is a strong Christian man.  I challenge ANYONE who wants to call him classless again.
 11. Great job, Eagles!!  So proud to be "Backing the Blue".  Dayton, you have a very good team.  I was glad to see a clean, hard-fought game from both sides.  I agree with many of the posters tonight.......our boys and coaches EARNED this win.  Way to go Coach Gage and Staff.  Boys, you made us proud tonight. By the way......THE HILL IS FOR REAL!!
 12.
Great game on both sides. The refs were horrible. But anyways. My main question for the BH fans is who is in charge of that pre-game music? Hearing an unedited rap song with cussing was crazy. Then it went on to talk about taking a shot of patron and get up in your mom. What the heck was that?
BH had nothing to do with the pre-game music.
 13. It was a great win over Crosby to finish the regular season for the Eagles.  7-3 is a terrific statement to the players and coaching staff in their first year together.  I think we definitely surprised some folks.  Of the three losses (Sante Fe, Lumberton, & Dayton), the one I would like to have back is Lumberton.....we played them the 2nd game of the season and had some unfortunate turnovers that gave them good field position.  We have certainly come a long way.....now let's put together a win over PNG......one thing I know for sure, the coaches will have them ready.
 14. Old Doc.....you Price "hanger ons" never give up.  I beg to differ with your comments.  Coach Gage came in and implemented an entirely new offense and defense.....and that isn't a big deal?  What exactly did Price leave at BH that benefited Coach Gage? That is about the most asinine comment yet....as if Ronnie Gage needed Don Price to leave him anything.  I guarantee if you took a poll of all the players in the athletic program they are SO MUCH happier with Coach Gage as our Athletic Director.  Without a doubt, our ENTIRE athletic program is much improved.
 15. I guess Don Price wasn't the "savior" you guys in Hamshire had hoped he would be!  Hey, better than you have than us on the Hill! We are quite pleased with our new Head Coach/AD!! ;D
