Dayton took an old fashioned butt-whippin---from start to finish. Not enough credit being given to Mercka---the kid played great.

I think Dayton wins this game but not in the usual 40 point blowout fashion of late. The Broncs by about 2 TDs.

LCM is much improved and walks out with the win by 10 pts

Last night I was in my "posh" Baytown home which has electricity and running water. I was at the dinner table eating a meal that was not killed, nor cleaned by any member of my family. We were watching a television (its' not really a "magic box") and the MTV (Music Television) Video Awards came on. With the sounds of gang related gunfire in the distance, I had revelations of the PERFECT analogy. Dayton is the equivalent of Taylor Swift: adored by many, successful, lots of trophies and the current fad. GCM is Kanye West: new on the block, not sure of how people will respond to their success, rough around the edges. Just like Kanye, GCM also plans to steal the microphone for a brief moment in time on Friday night, make their statement, and wait and see how the rest of the world reacts! GCM by 3! very poor analogy----Dayton is Dayton and GCM is ........well ......GCM and that means a loss for the goose

I'm gonna bet that Dawson could/would handle ANYTHING Dayton has to offer. GCM 28 Dayton 25 just do not see it---GCM is improved but Dawson and crew is about to get trucked---42-20 Dayton rolls Dawson is in reference to Pearland Dawson, to whom someone compared Dayton. So I doubt they or their crew are about to be "trucked". GCM on the other hand, wins by 3. I was under the impression that "Dawson" was just another no-name from GCM-----all the same the goose gets cooked and well done to boot!

After reading this it is apparent that BH has some real problems----I don't about on the field but certainly with SOME fans.

This years group is just that--this years. As of now they have not proven anything at all---maybe they will. Good luck to them anyway.

I was able to further my research and discovered it was Waco REICHER they beat 24-7. Reicher is a TAPPS Div 3 school. That changes things considerably----good luck GCM

Central has the hardest hitting defense in 20-4A. Harder than us, harder than Lumberton, harder than every other team. Everyone knows this ... and if they don't they darn well should. And it will take a hard-hitting defense to stand up to an offense that does not play the spread. I'm just reading between the lines here, but I believe that is what the poster was referring to, Diamond-J. He clearly said the only team that has a chance to beat us is Central----no need to try and interpret that. It is simply overconfidence at best and delusional at worst---best of luck to Vidor anyway would like to see a Dayton/Vidor or Dayton/Lumberton first round matchup---would be a great draw

It' funny you say that cause from what i've heard they petitioned to get out of the hardest 4A district in the state! Lumberton does need to beef up their schedule and play some 5A schools in the preseason Check your hearing "Da Conducta"---the petition did NOT include football. We do not mind traveling to BFE for four games a year but travel for all the other sports was the issue---about 300,000 dollars of an issue.

Lumberton was clearly the better team this early---the Dayton coaching staff has their work cut out for them but they always deliver and this season will be no different.
