[/quote]I believe that it is awful early to say that. They have had a very easy road thus far we should wait and see them against some better competition. I believe that last years team offensively has set the standard pretty hi, remember that last year we usually called the dogs off early in the 3 quarter and still averaged in the 40s. I also believe that 2007's team set the standard for defense with last years team obviously not being quite as good on defense but still very good. Lets see these boys against teams the level of Livingston and Kerrville Tivy, the 2007 Waller team, Lake Travis before we start crowning them just yet. NO doubt defensively they have been very impressive to date I just don't believe that they have been really tested yet. They could prove to be the best Dayton team Defensively to date they have that kind of talent. [/quote]To be clear I believe the defense is better than last year but not 2007--at least not yet

[/quote] Well, I'm out of here.  You guys can complain all off-season about those horrible kids from the 'hood - er, Brenham.  Think what you want, but thankfully your team does not have the class - or lack thereof - that you are demonstrating on here.  Each time PNG had an injured player, the Brenham team took a knee.  Did you notice?  I did.  Many where I was sitting also commented it was strange that the Cubs took a knee but the Indian players did not.  No big deal.  Teams have different ways of handling such events.  As for the fight song and cheering - absolutely!  Brenham just made a big play and the fight song was played with gusto.  Did you also hear the band stop in the middle of the song when it became obvious an injured player was on the ground at the opposite end of the field?  No you didn't.  Unfortunately, some people just see what they want to see.  See 'ya.  [/quote]Brenham has always been a class program and they still are---some folks just refuse to see it---good luck the rest of the way Cubs
