[/quote]For the sake of disclosure--I have had sons in football and every other sport in our district. We are a 4A program and I would expect that when the time is right we will separate the job of AD from the head FB coach----the biggest problem is not the dollars but that most ADs want control over the entire athletic program---therefore you must have the right people in place.

He still hadn't changed at Dayton. [/quote]The hit was about 5 years back so it could not have been Frank. I remember it well the Dayton QB was Micah Peoples who as I recall was the backup to Lloyd Ligons--Ford is correct though #7 had been "running his head" and was trying to deliver a blow and got cranked. Peoples was carrying the ball and dropped the hammer on #7 who layed on the ground for a while then got up and went down again----hardest hit that I have seen as well.
