1. wow,  broken hearts for lil players.  I'll try to get by this week at practice. check things out.
2. Congrats to the Bulls ,  Freshman, Juniors and Seniors won vs Alvin,  Soph lost 0-6.  All Avlin teams were undefeated.  Great job.
3. Kountze JV  30 Hardin JV    14 Good game.  Kountze has a good ground game with speed and power.  Better game then I anticipated.  Hardin's defense looked good, despite the numbers. A few fluke plays, but #3 for Kountze is legit. QB is big and strong too.
4. He is a kid.  Most kids these days, you cannot get them to put the phone down, it just kills them.  If he is texting on the sideline, thats a coaches area or his parent to handle. If someone asked him to pose for a pic and he said no , not during a game,  how many would blast him for thinking he as too good to take a pic, when he is not in uniform.  Both of the boys are kids, they make mistakes, we all need to remember that.

6. Bulls play with TIFI  Texas Intercity Football Inc,  based in the Houston area. They did play in the Long Star league for two years a few years ago, but started with TIFI many years ago, and then returned there.  Sgt the board is really doing a great job and has the teams best interest at heart.  The AD has been there long enough to know about the little bitty rules.  You can always talk to the board and you know where to find me.  There is always a X on beaumont, they hate making that long drive down here.
7. Thank you for this Gary. I do not know you, but I would hug you.
8. It is micro managing.  Never know if someone is watching the time you start practice, or who would tell someone.  A couple years ago, someone actually got in trouble from another team for starting too soon.  Another team, 2 yrs ago, in summer before season, would take players he knew would play for him 2 at a time, and do QB/center exchange, and pass routes,  hand offs,  2 kids at each corner of field,  because rule said a coach and 3 players was a practice,  they had to put a stop to that.  We started getting more participation about 2 years ago , every now and then we would have to not start a game on time too.  but I think most of those parents moved on the high school by now.  good luck this weekend.
9. Hey Coach Mitchell How's things going for you?  I know the season is just around the corner. Are you getting excited ?  We can't wait to see you in action.
10. i see everyone won against LaMarque, Great job!  They are normally a power house at every level.  Good luck at Alvin,I see they are undefeated at every level. Long drive out there.  How's Lil Bruce,  i hope getting better.
11.
A true fan proudly supports his or her team regardless of the outcome. It is right to show appreciation for all of the hard work these young kids give for our entertainment. This fact is even more important in light of the events surrounding the tragic death of WOS quarterback Reggie Garrett. So yes, uknowit, I am going to cheer for my Hardin Hornets even louder this week than I ever have. From here on out, they need to know that we believe that what they do on and off the field is important. I don't think you even know who our kids are or what they stand for, but if you did, you'd love them too. This week, the significance of every high school football game is symbolized in something far beyond what any scoreboard can measure. The legacy of Reggie Garrett is a lesson for all of us, young and old alike.
Agreed Starfish.  you stand by your team win or lose.  hardin should have done better last year, key injuries hurt, key players did not play to their potential, it happens.  Hardin is better then i thought they woud be this year, still have some turnovers to overcome, and their are in one of the toughest districts in the state this year.  Good luck to the Hornets, no matter if we place in district or not.
12. Ditto  Anafanatic.  I believe Anahuac wins District
13. My pleasure. It is always a source of inspiration to me.
14.
Get your facts straight (Sly Guy). No one wins in a scrimmage!! How about this fact, that game yall won last Saturday was against the youngest PNG team had to offer. We will see how good those Bmt pups really are today. They're up against maybe the best team in the Flag Division. If someone can, Please keep me posted! Bmt Flag, since when did they become relevant?
Last year Bmt struggled, but they are building, and haven't given up. The older teams are struggling, but the flag is not.
15. Those I Love and Those Who Love Me This is a link to a beautiful poem that was once given to me. I thought it might help some of us here.  My prayers go out to all who have been touched by Reggie Garret.
16. From the Hardin Hornet family. Our prayers are with this young man's family, friends, and WOS.
17. Thank you for your prayers. Heard he is ok, just a stinger.
18. I remember Alan Filer, he as in my sisters class,  outstanding.
19. I heard Bmt flag did win over Ktz in scrimmage, not sure about the running over part.  Different Flag team then last year, some of the others moved up, new players etc.  Bulldogs are still in the learning and growing department, but they are improving. Keep up the good work.
