What is the scouting report on Woden?  How do the Hardin girls match up? Thanks.

Hardin has knocked Woodville out of the playoffs 2 of the last 4 years.  Anything can happen in the playoffs, but they should win this one by double digits and make it 3 out of 5.

Hardin over HJ in the semi's of the Tarkington tournament by 9 or 10 points I think.  HJ over New Waverly and Hardin over Tarkington before that.  Livingston 1st place, Hardin 2nd.

[/quote] Hardin is actually only 2 years removed from back-to-back regional appearances themselves.  They are trying to build the type of tradition EC is known for.  Of course Hardin won multiple state championships in the 70's/80's but a lot of people don't remember that.  4 of the girls on this team are daughters or nieces of the state champions. The last time Hardin went to regionals they beat Woodville in Silsbee to get there, so it's kind of neat that they won again at the same place.  This may develop into a good rivalry.  Congrats to Hardin and good luck to Buna tonight.
