1.
No, Nederland still wins this one.
I was more wondering if Vidor fans thought this would hurt them......lol
 2. Question: If another thread is right and a Vidor running back is out of this game, does that change predictions?
 3. What is happening....this, rumors of up to 5 kids quitting in West Hardin....dang I hate to see this
 4. Yeah, I did not think we were supposed to use kids names unless it was confirmed in newspaper or on the news
 5.
Bobcat 55 that shows how smart you are the Kelly kid is the best on the team, if you dont no anything about Oiler football you should not say anything about it. Ask your buddys if the Kelly kid is the best. Todd Freiga if he is one of your buddys.
Coached these kids growing up.....Ridge has alot of God given ability........Kelley just has those qualities that coaches love and you can't put into a kid.....they just have to have them. Both are good kids
 6. But if you are going to beat a dead horse, make it a Bronco.....lol

His decision making will only get better if  he doesn't try to force passes.I look for him to pass over 3,000 yards and rush for over 1000 TD's this season. With Elam back at WR to take some of the pressure off Holmes, who knows how good Silsbee can be. I hope we can kick Huffman's butt this year!  ;D
If he does that he is a lock
Sorry BadSanta.....couldn't resist.....lol i agree.... you think they'd give the Heisman to a highschooler?
Lmbo!
8. How in the heck can they stop you.....put on a pink cancer supporting t-shirt and go in.......I can find no rules saying you can't
 9. HD Colmesneil Iola WH I pull for WH but they lost alot from last year
 10. I get this mental image of the scene in "Friday Night Lights" where the guys from the booster club stop by Billy Bob's office on the first gameday and commence to telling him how to run his offense and what he needs to do.

 13.
I tried reading all 5 pages of the post and still did not understand if Vidor is actually going to be sitting on Nederland's side.  If so, I do not agree with that.  It just seems simple to me.  Home is for home and visitor is for visitors.  Is that NOT the way it is?  Does anyone know how big their visitor side is (seat wise) compared to the home side (seat wise).  Could their visitor side be REALLY small?  I just can't imagine why they wouldn't be fair about it???
Exactly what I have been saying......
 14.

I still don't get why Vidor would only send a set amount. And even if they don't send them up front, when Nederland says they are out why not send more? They said they would be for sale at the visitors gate so why not presale and not have to worry about folks having to man the booths to sell tickets at the game. That is why I said that, on the surface, it appears it is a way of allowing more Vidor fans in.....if not, why not send all the tickets to Nederland and let them sell them all.....sounds like they would
Because there is only a certain number of seats in the stadium.  The band/drill team gets their seats, then the season ticket holders, and if they have any left the general public can buy them.
know that Mack....all I am saying is.....for the last few weeks they have known there are XX amount of available tickets on the visitor side (whatever that number is....50, 500, 1000). Why not send them to Nederland to sell. They are for visitor side seating

 16. I haven't seen either team.....dayton fans will say dayton....sc fans will say sc........bh fans for some reason will still say bh..........I think the dayton/sc game will be a great one to watch tho and will decide the champ
 17.
Ok I got to the bottom of it. Vidor only sent over a certain allotment at the beginning of the year and Nederland sold most of them to season ticket holders. The remaining tickets is what NISD has to sell because Vidor won't send anymore. Not sure why they won't but there's your story.
This tells me it is Vidors way of allowing more of their fans in for Homecoming
 18.

Plenty of Kountze players have told me they are staying focused.. and as far as what sport1971 said... YES SIR I LIKE IT!!
Do they just walk up to you and say, "Man, I'm focused!"?
What kind of stupid question is that?
 19. I don't think about Splendora vs Liberty often...... But when I do I see Splendora by alot
 20. Kountze by alot.....just too many athletes
 21. I think SC should be higher but SC/Dayton should be a heck of a game
 22.
I have no problems with anyone cheering on their own team.  But when you are sitting on the other teams side don't act a fool.  Also he is lucky I wasn't the woman he was talking to crazy because I would have shown him CRAZY.
LO....how them where crazy lives huh?

(1) Seating. The visiting team has the right to demand one-half of the stadium seats in relation to the 50-yard line in all League football contests, whether district games, non-district games or playoff games, unless mutually agreed otherwise by the two schools involved. A visiting team can demand one half of the reserved seats. A visiting team has a right to split the stadium in relation to the fifty yard line, subject to the end zone situation being equal, unless mutually agreeable otherwise
I was just looking at that jmoore.....I believe a team can make a rule for their field or a district could make a rule for their schools but I cannot find anywhere in the UIL handbook that says it is a UIL rule
I wouldn't be surprised if a school or district made a rule along those lines to keep altercations/incidents from happening. Makes sense, until the home side is sold out playing against an opponent that doesn't travel well or have much support.
I may have the district rules and UIL rules crossed.  Years and years ago during Vidor's homecoming games only could Vidor sit on the visiting teams side due to over flow.  However, the district does not allow the home team to sit on the visitors side any longer.  They haven't for years.
My question would then be.....how do you control that? If I dressed in black as a vidor fan and went on nederlands side then pull off my shirt to reveal a vidor shirt.....would I be kicked out? What if I wore a PNG shirt but was a vidor fan? I think the rule would be that Vidor cannot sell tickets to their fans through the school.....but if you go to the stadium and buy one that can't be controlled.....just wondering/not arguing
Cant see that ever happening.  :D
You know what I mean......ok, if a vidor fan wore a shirt that said Dr. Pepper on it.....lol......my question is......if an administrator knows that fan is a Vidor fan, how do they control that? I think they would remove a bunch of kids congregating on the wrong side tho.....trouble waiting to happen. Cheermom, I agree with you.....I have seen the same thing but I guess outside of bringing the law in, how can adminisrators control that? Especially when there will be thousands of fans moving around?
