1. While I agree with you Phat, aggie faithful (most old army) always have said aTm is different and does things the right way. That is all I heard til aTm got busted in the Sherrill days. It quickly changed to, well, everyone does it.   What always gets me with these kids is the stupidity in which they get caught. Of the 3 guys that were there, don't you think one would say "hey guys, parking in this handicap spot ain't cool with all this crap we got goin on up in here"   UT has had their share of bad press and most aggie's delighted in it. It is a phenomenon between the schools and the respective alumni.
2. You are right........I hope Holder comes through this just fine.........so he can be held accountable for his crappy stint as AG
3. Mr. Cobb.....do you follow them in all sports? How does the Masters kid look this year?
4. I have nothing good to say so I will say nothing at all
5. Come on Man........
6. Sure.......they voted Edwin Edwards back in after he bankrupted the state, went to prison and was released.........could this be the definition of low info voters?
7. I am pulling for Phil but Zach Johnson is managing the course well in Round 1. The same strategy he used to win the Masters a few years ago.
8. I graduated REL Baytown in 1982.........My youngest just graduated BH and now my attention is my 2 step sons at Clear Brook
9.
1A DI Boys Pole Vault 2nd  Patterson, Morgan            West Hardin          14-00.00
Congrats Morgan
10. When and where will 19-4A and 20-4A be running in area?
11.
Tiger given a 2 shot penalty for signing an incorrect scorecard.  You have to wonder if it was anyone else if they wouldn't have been DQ'd.  Tiger is bigger than the game and the officials know it.
I agree with the first part but the second not so much. He may be the biggest name in the game currently but the game will go on without him. As for tickets aries, goldentickets.com sells them at a premium (monday practice round this year was $403 per ticket). I went on the masters.com site and signed up for their drawing for next years tickets.
12. I go for Westwood as my underdog and he promptly double bogeys #1
13.
I have been twice, '93 and '99, for Wed., Thurs. and Friday rounds. Never been there for the weekend though. My first time I was simply amazed at the elevation changes throughout the course. TV does not do that aspect any justice.
Tt is the main comment I hear from friends that have been AAW.......you cannot believe the elevation changes because you cannot see it on TV. I am pulling for Phil and Furyk this year but my underdog pick is Westwood.
14. I am ready for this tournament. On my bucket list to attend one day
15. Lee is where I graduated from so it is great to see them doing well. When I was a kid Lee and RSS had great programs.
16. Thanks for the updates TradinUp.........nice job Eagles What was Thames line for the game?
17. Luling has some really good BBQ
18. Yes.....my fiance's son........now I know why the sheriff's office was outside my office a bit ago
19. I have not attended a varsity meet yet but went to watch my fiance's freshman meet at Pearland Dawson yesterday. A freshman from Manvel ran a 10.88.
20. Hope to make it out for a game or 2.......will be even better to sit by Coach Herrington for his commentary........that is worth the price of admission
21. Coach Bear, I wish you could have met him and had a talk. I meet with some coaches for breakfast when I can and Jackie was one of them. After hearing of his diagnosis, I walked out to his truck with him when leaving and just said "Coach, I am sorry for the news you got about cancer. I hope everything goes ok." His response amazed me........"John, I know there is a bigger plan here. I am not worried for me one bit because I know where my path leads.......God is good all the time." RIP Coach
22. Jackie Byrd, former DB coach at Baytown Lee and BH passed away this morning from pancreatic cancer. Heaven gained a good man today
23. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone ,.... Say a prayer for our servicemen and women as well as their families
24.
BH's RB???!!!!  Really???!!!  You can't be serious. W/o the sneaky option, none of BH's RB's pose a threat.  Their offense is like running a trick play each down. It makes even marginal backs look good. Just look at Vidor.  If it were not for deception, that team isn't running on anyone.
This has nothing to do with SC vs Georgetown but........this is about the stupidest quote I have ever read. Is a quarterback only good if he drops back and passes on a 5 step drop? Play action would be deceptive and that makes even marginal QB's look good. Deception and dealing with it are part of the game........heck, we ought to throw any stats for a running back that played in the wishbone out of the books.........he isn't any good.....it was smoke and mirrors. Reminds me of obama's "you didn't build that" flub
