Grubbs really the only one attacking the rim defensively. No defensive rebounding relates to the points they scored. Take away the free throws made, 10 I believe and it's clear that there weren't any defense issues with an all offensive five on the floor. If Dontre, Barnes and Mackey were there.... Well. JMO

So far it's a PNG day. Freshmen lost. (No score, I didn't make the early game) JV lost by 10, 39-49, in what looked to me a sloppy and slow game. PNG executed their plays and took advantage of a weak interior defense. Stay tuned, Varsity warming up.

Im no expert.... hold the comments. lol. I just cant see Barnes not being on the floor for the start and finish of ANY game this year. Young man grew big time last year and with the advent of a couple of drive, stop and shoot point guard additions this year, his EVERREADY rebounding/put back skills are a must. Agreed, for KB to play the majority minutes he will have to improve even more, but man I like his aggressive style. It should pay big dividends with L' McCain running the point, Mike J on the wings creating havoc with his style and hopefully the "shooters" (Grubbs, Harris and Adams) keeping people out the paint. Again, great spot as a coach but tough decisions with Thomas, Mackey and Barnes sharing playing time. Cant wait for the show.
