BrenhamFan..Ya'll eliminated us from the playoffs the same number of times Kingwood Park eliminated Brenham. :D I do agree that we should have went for two with around three minutes left in the game. But I will always disagree wih kicking a 40 yd FG in HS vs. trying to get a yard on 4th down against a team that you have moved the ball up and down field all day against. Maybe at Brenham with all the great soccer players you have, a 40 yard FG is automatic, but most schools, including PNG last year, do not have that ability. I don't know why we didn't go for two, but I do know that Coach Faircloth knows more about football than you and me combined, so I will stick with him. Maybe when he moves on you can apply for the job, since you seem to have the pulse of PNG football.
I never said that I knew more than Faircloth, just that I disagreed with a couple play calls.  As for pulling for PNG, that's not going to happen.... (I bleed GREEN)  I choose to attend a few games a year cuz I like the atmosphere.  I love HS football, and that atmosphere is great.  While most PNG fans are obnoxious and rude, I've also met a couple who were rather nice, which whom I have a lot of respect for.  You're right, we went home early last year, but i think it's pretty safe to say, that won't be the case this year.  Good luck against TC, and the rest of the year.  8)

First we never Blitz, we dont even get in a Goaline Defense when our opponent has the ball inside the 10 yardline about to score. Its plain old sit back and let the other team run the ball down your throat Defense. Our DC needs to be more aggressive take some chances and get our Defense off the field quicker in the up coming games. And can anyone explain why we didnt go for the 2 pt conversion when the score was 28 to 23 ?
Maybe your username should be "half indian/coach" since you know so much about what the PNG coaches should be doing. They're the ones that watch film, game plan, practice with the kids, etc. Let them do their job and shut your mouth.
Don't worry about me....  They can do what they want, but those calls don't win games.  It's nothing against PNG, cuz I'd say the same thing if our coaches made those calls.  I'm glad yall are satisfied with your coaches decisions.  Get mad if you want, but I'm allowed to voice my opinion.  That run defense needs some work, cuz those arm tackles arnt going to cut it once the real games start.  Hope to see y'all in the playoffs, cuz with this many people angry with my comments, it will be a pleasure to eliminate PNG yet again!  ;)

I feel like they shouldve taken Crosby to the woodshed. Didn't see either of the first two games but listened to some of both, and not sure what happened in the second half last week but that was lots of scoring. I know the NDNs can put up some points, but have they played a 7 or 8 win opponent yet? My bet would be no. I am gonna go with Texas City by 6... TC - 27 PNG - 21
Year in and year out Gregory Portland is a playoff team. This year they are weak , very weak. As far as Crosby , nobody on this site was giving them much of a chance. But after the game, the PNG posters on this site wanted to give credit where credit is due. I believe Crosby will make the playoffs this year just as they do most of the time. You may not believe they are any good , I didn't last year and they knocked Nederland out of the playoffs and played two more weeks. But only time will tell.
They didn't play 2 more weeks after beating Nederland.  They lost to Montgomery the very next round.
 12. I don't know much, other than they had a pretty lopsided loss to Magnolia West last week, and beat Channelview by 3.  They have a good TE, and an above average running game.  Rumor is, their passing game is sub-par. Kingwood Park 44 Huffman          21
I was wondering the same thing and while most agree with us, I've heard 2 PNG fans say that we are wrong and the coaches were right.  Still don't get it, but whatever, it's not my team that got the loss.  I do think the Indians rebound this week, but the play calling must improve.
 15. This one is a toss up!  I'll take Angleton, because they have been so impessive lately. (Not that Dayton hasn't, but they are still missing 2 key players) Angleton 28 Dayton    27
 16. Cub Stadium: Since the "walk of champions" (archway that the players walk through, on the way to the field) was installed, we're 7-0. (Also the same time we got our new turf) Just superstition on that part. Lol. Two things that probably anger teams that play here, are the drive and the visitor seating. 1.) The drive for just about everybody that plays here, is atleast an hour long. (except Waller) Most 4A districts feature teams that are within a few minutes of each other, but Brenham is out here by itself.  Some teams even have to deal with Houston traffic, in addition to the hour trip.  2.) The visiting stands have always been small, but over the last few years things have changed a little.  Last year we did replace the warped wooden bleachers on the visitors side, but since then we've made 1/3 of the visitors side for our band and our fans.  The visiting fans only get the center third, cuz the other end is for the visiting band.  This is inconvenient for large schools and teams that travel well. It's not the best homefield advantage, but it doesn't hurt...  Lol
 17. Magnolia West might be in the top 10 by the end of the season.
