They do need to cover better.  Live by the blitz, die by the blitz!  Defense looked a lot better in the 2nd quarter.  Malcolm Brown has been dominant... (even with the double & triple team)

It's the Mustangs potent offense (which has the district's leading rusher & leading passer), aginst one of the state's top defenses.  IMO, the x-factor for this game, will be the Magnolia West defense (7th in the 17-4A), against the Brenham offense (3rd in 17-4A).  Huge implications in this game!  The winner will likely be 17-4A's #1 seed for D2.  (The winner will likely see Dayton in the second round of the playoffs.) Last year we held Richards to 11 yards on 11 carries, but that's not likely to happen again.  I can't wait to see this one! Kickoff @ 7:30 Game can be heard on 97.5 FM or online @ KWHI.com

That's just the way it has always been for me and a lot of Indians.Some Nederland posters have really shown a lot of arrogance by acting like Vidor is beneath them and therefore does not deserve any rival status...or at least that is  what I take from it. From what I have seen and heard, Vidor is gonna be a tough, scrappy little team this year and shouldn't be taken lightly. I agree with Coach on the other thread...if people think highly enough of your school and football program to consider you a rival, take that as a compliment.
