1. From a 10-7 halftime lead, to a 38-7 victory. Two things I'm curious about.... 1. Why did the staters stay in for so long? 2. Why not take a knee? Not bad mouthing the coaching, but I'm just curious.  Most coaches would have done both of those things. Congrats on a very good, & convencing win!  It will help come seeding time for the playoffs...
 2.
Lake travis is not a team their a football robot sent back through time to destroy d1 4a
Correct again!
 3. Mark, what did you think about Malcolm's 51 yd TD reception?  Not bad for a 290 pound beast!  He was running around, through and over defenders.  Lol.
 4.
Bronx just like a good win can tell you something about your team a loss can tell you just as much. Nobody wins every game it how you handle losing that will define your team keep your heads up and prepare for your next opponent because like I said in an earlier post beating dayton makes everybodys season and you can bet they will all bring their a game against the bronx.
Very true.  Even LT loses... (even if they only lose once or twice every 3 years)  ;D
 5.
If that secondary doesn't learn to cover I can see another first round exit.
The secondary will be fine.  They were a little rusty coming off the bye week.  You notice all of those passing yards were in the 1st quarter.  As usual, the defense started slow, but made adjustments throughout the game.  After that, our defense was back to normal.  When you blitz as much as we do, you're gonna give up some big plays from time to time.  The thing is, we give up an occasional big play, but our defense makes up for it with our own big plays!  You live by the blitz, you die by the blitz...  It's not easy to throw on the run, with a 300 pound beast hitting you play after play.  It will take a toll on you, just ask any 17-4A QB...
 6.
Well, Brenham is always impressive.  I thought that West could run with them if they could hold onto the ball.  I see they had 3 turnovers in the 1st half, and you simply can not do that if you want to beat Brenham.  Once they fell behind 2 scores, that was it.  Looking forward to seeing how the Montgomery-Stratford game goes today.  I think it's a good possibility that Montgomery will give the Cubs their only loss in the regular season.
It's possible that Montgomery could beat us, but it has never happened before, so I'm hoping that it stays that way.  I don't think the Montgomery @ Stratford game will be close.  My prediction, the Bears win by 17 to 24 points. Our schedule has not worked in our favor.  *Only 4 home games this year. *3 away games in a row, early in the season. (With a bye in the middle of them) *Away games: Lamar Consolidated- probably a playoff team from a tough district, Houston Lamar- Quality 5A school, Magnolia West- a playoff team that has improved every year, Montgomery- the team that has challenged us the most in district. (Spring Woods & Magnolia are away games too, but are cakewalks)

Wills point 27 Kirbyville  26
Why were they throwing the ball, when they were in FG range and trailing by 1, with 1:13 left in the game?  ???
That would be a 32 yard field goal.  Not a gimmie fg.  Especially with a missed PAT.  Not every school has a reliable kicker.  Why do people automatically question coaching decisions when they have absolutly no clue about the game of football?
To answer you, it was just that....  A question.  I didn't bad mouth anybody.  I simply thought about the situation, and what I would do.  I'm not as familiar with Kirbyville as I am with other schools.  While a 32 yd FG might be out of the question for some schools, I've seen a couple others put it through from 50+. (Which is why I asked the question) IMO, you would keep the ball on the ground there, or throw a high percentage pass if it were 3rd and long. (screen or wheel route) Anyways, thanks for the kind words Kville_Kats, and again, I didn't mean to bash anybody.  Good luck to y'all the rest of the year.
Dear TuTu wearing Chicken, I appologize!  I am quite fond of that new bow you wore tonight.  It is now a very special bow.  I would be glad to clean it, fluff it up, or just protect it with all means required.  Should you require a gatorade or nochos during halftime, please call the emergency number I gave you.  I am at your beck-n-call!  ;D P.S. Please spit "Beechnut" in the next QB's eye!
Those tutu's are good luck!  We have 2 mascots, and the female sports one also....  ;)

I predicted BH 24 Dayton 17...Shoud have given them each one more TD,,,BH willl definitely make a little noise in the playoffs..Offense can move the ball and defense is solid..Nice job by the kids and BH coaching staff.
Little noise is right...  Guess who's lined up to to play Brenham in the 2nd round now!  ;)
 15.
Congrats Brenham! Hope to catch a Brenham game in the playoffs!  :)
Thanks!  I'm sure y'all will rebound.  If BH wins district, we could see y'all in the regional final like old times, instead of the 2nd round.
 16. Go Ozen!  Prove me right this year...
