They are usually the most unaccurate.  I go by the local paper over others, because they are usually more familiar with a team.  Example: If you want a Brenham stat... I would look at the Banner Press, over the Houston Chronicle or MaxPreps.

[/quote] They are slightly overrated IMO.  They have started 2-2, with losses to Magnolia West 21-24 (should have lost by more than that from I heard) & Kingwood Park 31-35 (they went for 2 every time because they didn't trust their kicking game... Otherwise they would have been going to OT) They will be a playoff team though...  A lot of athletes, but a weak defense.

Dayton will have their hands full with Hagan.  The kid leads the Houston area in receiving.  35 receptions for 626 yds & 3 TD's

[/quote] The kid is extremely accurate and has a cannon.  He always watches lots of film and his dad is a coach.  At first he wasn't use to the speed of the SEC defenses, but he has shown that he has heart, and didn't quit on his team, even when he was struggling.  I think that says a lot, cuz he could have transferred, but instead he has worked with his coaches and corrected his mistakes.  As you can tell, it has paid off dividends!  He is the real deal, and I'm glad he got a second chance.  LSU is the best team in the country, and the sky is limit for them this year...

That's the thing with success...  It sets the bar extremely high every year!

I'm not completely sure about this, but I've heard that coach West makes around $96K.

If we can get 3 more teams in there, 20% of the national rankings will be from Texas.  I think that says something.
