  1. Great game Bobcats!!....My heart & my prayers go out to the injured H-F player.  Having been in the same situation a week ago, I feel for him & his family.  Will continue to keep him & his family in my prayers.
  2. Glad Orangefield has finally hired a new AD/HC...just sad this forum & the newspaper are the way the other applicants are finding out about it!
  3. Wow, very interesting!  Welch, Huckabay and Jost gone.  Those are the 3 that Orangefield's school board wanted to get rid of.  Let me make a prediction that Smalley will be the new AD/football coach.  Heard he was the one that the school board wanted to hire MONTHS ago.  Orangefield community better wake up before their school district falls apart!
  4. Not good!  Assuming it will be the same tomorrow night, just different location!
  5. Well, all I can say, having first hand knowledge, is........GO COACH HUCK!!!!!!!!!!! Glad you're in Orangefield!
  6. Yes, 78Stang, you are correct! And, said board member praised current AD until last year when his child was disciplined.  Things have gone downhill since then!
  7. Parents Angelle, Gunstream & Smith all had athletes who were disciplined.
  8. Every week new player stats are posted & each week they are different on here, in the papers & on MaxPreps.  Sometimes the differences, especially with rushing yards, are big. One paper will show a player has the most rushing yards, and another paper & SETX will list another player. So which stats are actually accurate?  I'm assuming MaxPreps stats are put in by the coaches.
  9. Funny how each paper has different stats for the players and MaxPreps has totally different stats...anyone know what the stats actually are?  I'm assuming MaxPreps stats are entered by coaches.
  10. Stats were different in each paper, but if info came from the coaches, then that says alot cuz OFs starting RB was hurt & on the sideline and he was listed on rushing stats. It doesn't make any sense!
  11. Incorrect stats were posted in OR Leader, BMT Enterprise & HOU Chronicle.  I know in the Orangefield vs. Buna game there were kids listed in the stats that weren't even on the team & one that was on the sideline not suited out.  Also, Orangefield's starting TB had several carries & rushing yds. but wasn't even listed in the stats.  The stats also showed Orangefield had a couple of receivers.  Where do the papers get their info anyway?  If people are relying on these, then they are getting incorrect info.
  12. sorry...I was asking if was he not on the sideline because of his injury...tere was an earlier post about him not being on the sideline because of the issue of his age....just wondering...
