9.
I feel ya brenham fan but this was the first district game not the first play off win like kp
Same thing happened when Waller upset us a couple of years ago.  If you're a perennial power and you lose, you can expect this to happen.  If Montgomery beats us this year, it will likely happen, just cuz they have never beaten us, and we usually win district.
 10. Animal Cruelty or Football Beatdown A beaten and battered pack of Bulldogs was found near the banks of the Brazos late last night.  While some have mentioned a football game that was played last night, it was also pointed out that Michael Vick has had some extra time on his hands with a recent injury...  He was the leading suspect, but after further review, it has been confirmed that it was just the annual beating Brenham gives Waller.  Case closed....
 11.
You should take that behavior as a compliment to Dayton's reputation as a great football program (plus getting smacked 54-0 last year had something to do with it, ha). We used to get that reaction from opposing teams every game when we were as successful in football...still get that reaction in every other sport when we lose  ;) Ya'll got some things to figure out, but will be fine!
I agree...  Y'all should take it as a compliment.  Trust me, I know how annoying it is to lose and get that reaction from the other team. (Kingwood Park last year)  ::) :-\ It's hard to watch, but it comes with the territory....  Simple way to fix it though.... Win!  I'm sure y'all will bounce back, but try to think of it as a compliment when this does happen.  Good luck to the Broncos the rest of the year!  Also, congrats to BH!
 12.
Stop the run and double Nelson. No one else on PNG can beat the dogs. And if Nederland can run the ball like last week it will be the same result as last year.
You don't hve to stop him...  Just slow him down.  I would be really physical if I were Nederland.  Jam Nelson off the line, and punish him every time he touches the ball.  Double team him, while you blitz the QB.  Also, DB's seem to give him a lot of room, so PNG throws a lot of back shoulder  passes to him, so be prepared for that.  It will have to be somebody pretty strong, cuz Nelson is a big WR.  You will give up a few plays, but i think it would be effective for the most part.  JMO, on how to stop PNG.
 13. I'm not too familiar with Nederland this year, I can just go off of what I see on here.  It should be good game, that goes back forth.  I think Nelson will be the x-factor in this game.  If Nederland can slow him down they will take this one, but if not, I'm going to say PNG wins.  PNG          31 Nederland 28
I knew soon as i posted this comment someone would say that lol but let me rephrase they wont lose another district* game lol
Lol.  Just checking....  If Dayton's defense doesn't improve, Crosby could give them trouble.  Those twins made Crosby's running game look pretty good.  Crosby will just need to make a couple stops.  That's the part I'm not too sure about.

I know our chances don't look very good, but I do hope it's a good hard hitting game. Watching Malcolm Brown run after that catch last week is scary he is a tremendous talent. So I know we will have our hands full and them some. Best of luck Cubs! And bjimbo that short fat coach is a co worker and friend of mine and I know he would careless if you like him or not.
Good luck to y'all as well.  I have an extra ticket in the reserved section if you're interested?  No need to worry about our fans, cuz my seat is around some nice people.  Let me know if you are interested?

 22. It's no MCM, but these 2 schools don't like each other.  Respect each other, ya, but when the Bulldogs & Cubs play, there is a lot of emotion on the field.  It's always one of the most physical and hard hitting games of the year.  Two years ago, the rivalry became even a little more intense, when Brenham, (who was then #9) came into the Bulldogs new stadium to cap off an undefeated, district run.  Waller on the other hand, had started the season 0-6, but had just won their last three games and needed one more, plus a Magnolia loss to make the playoffs.  As fate would have it, they got both of those things...  The Cubs missed what would have been a 46yd game winning FG, into a heavy wind.  The kick had the distance, but sailed wide right, much to the disbelief of the Cub faithful.  With under 2 minutes to play, the Magnolia VS Magnolia West score was announced, and Waller ISD Stadium erupted, knowing that they were a couple of knees away from shocking the state, by upsetting their rival, and making the playoffs.  While Brenham leads the series 21-7, you cant just give them the victory just yet.  You always hear the saying, "throw the records out the window in rivalry games".  It couldn't be more true, in this one... Brenham 42 Waller      7
 23.
Honestly Justin, the offense played so flat in the first half, Big John was punishing them. He lit them up in the locker room at halftime, and he wasn't gonna let them up. They practiced lite all week, and had the bye week off, and looked flat in the first half. When they put the twos in they scored on two running plays, from 60 yds out.
Ok, thanks.  Ya, that makes sence.  I figured their was a reason, just wasn't sure what it was.  I only caught the last 5 mins of the game on the radio, but it seems like Gassaway will give us all we can handle.  I was also impressed by the defense.  It should be another showdown. Our secondary looked weak in the 1st quarter last night, but we seemed to adjust after that.  I think the bye week had something to do with that also.

Not for my kid, yet, but for my nephew (Soph, WR, on varsity @ 4A Hutto Highschool).
Yikes, that means he'll be seeing Lake Travis soon.
No Lake Travis. They are in the district with Bryan Rudder, and the Pflugerville schools. they are not even in the same region as Lake Travis. I would've loved to see how the would've matched up against them, tho.
Ya you're right.  Wern't they before the last realignment?
