you guys realize that the only ones that will suffer are the kids who had nothing to do with it. It was wrong, but why is it the kids have to pay for what some adults decided to do?  

I am glad the UIL didn't punish the kids. Now it is time for Livingston ISD to step up and get rid of the persons responsible for doing this. A Little cleaning of the closets is in store. Will they do it, I have no idea, but if they don't then the entire school board is just as responsible.

I hear ya, I received 6 phone calls in less that 5 min. It didn't take long after he told the players.

I guess my question would be how do you turn in the wrong numbers. I would think that the school district would of been on top of that. Now a bunch of schools are scrambling to fix their schedules.
 

BC is always tough and never rebuild just reload. But after playing Silsbee last year in the playoffs, I will give them the nod, those boys are tough and never quit. They will be a big force in that district for years to come. Silsbee has plenty of pitching and they have some pretty good bats also.

I will be a homer and Say Coach Keel and the entire coaching staff at Shepherd. Reason being is 99.9% of the young men and women that play sports in school will at sometime have to become adults that have a job and children. This coaching staff teaches the young people about life and turning them into respectable citizens in the community that do the right thing. There is way more to these coaches than wins and losses. If most of the young people they coach become great people then these coaches have done way more than just winning a game. OH and it doesn't hurt that they have turned around the football program at Shepherd.

That's it, I will call Coach Keel and tell him to please not waste money to go to Kountze. Shepherd does not have a chance so why even go. I have a ton of respect for most of the fans for Kountze and the way their kids and coaches go about their business.
 
But come on Bobhoke15 that takes the cake. 5X and 10X better, oh my god that is funny. Does Kountze have some really good kids, why yes they do but good lord tell us something that will make what you say believable. Shepherd and Kountze have always played really good games against each other and I wouldn't think this one would be any different. Who wins, well I don't know.
 
Last year we heard how great Kountze was going to be and that really didn't come to be. Same with Shepherd.
Oh Yea Bobhoke15 I really do not remember a person from Shepherd making excuses.
To all the other Kountze fans, you guys keep it real and seem to be very honest about what you think, as for Bobhoke15 please don't start acting like you are from Hull.

Awesome love kids that just know how to pitch and compete without overpowering stuff, fun to watch.....whats funny to me is the recruiting, there is always room on any roster for a lefty that can pitch.

He has good curveball the he can spot. He doesn't throw but mid 80's. He changes speed and locates well. Just a good solid pitcher and he is a lefty.

Titan, you make this way too easy. How come you can't have a reasonable conversation without taking shots? Nowhere did I ever say in any of my previous posts that Shugart (in your words) was "unstoppable". You have tried your best to kick dirt on the guy or the BC program at every opportunity. You made a rather disparaging remark about the kid getting drafted earlier that was also uncalled for. It's a shame you won't at least entertain the idea of having a legitimate and open minded conversation about the game because you seem to have some really good knowledge about the Huffman program as well as high school ball in your area. I made a reference to the fact that Bumpas and the rest of the Huffman team is good. I also made a reference to the fact that Shugart and BC are also good. I gave credit to Huffman for winning last years series. I also referenced the fact that Huffman in the past has not wanted to play BC in a series which is opposite of this year. All of that is factual and can be backed up by numbers, for both sides. If you want to talk baseball lets do that, if not, I can't help you.

Yep the Kolek's are big time names and players in Shepherd, there is no question about that, but Shepherd is a little deeper this year than just Stephen. They can hit the ball better than in years past, and that is with 4 underclassmen starting. Bellville will be legit, but I think Shepherd has just as good of a chance to win as Bellville does.

I do think Silsbee's coach was trying to break the momentum that Shepherd was starting to build. Yes he had only given up 2 runs to that point but Shepherd had the bases loaded two or three times and just didn't capitalize at that point. That was going to be the pitchers second or third time thru the line up and Shepherd had some hard hits that were just right at Silsbee's players. So I think he was trying to go to someone else to keep Shepherd off balance. It just didn't work out. It doesn't show up in the hits column but Shepherd's players #1 and #12 had some really hard hits that were just right to Silsbee's players the entire series. More so for #1 he hit some peas and was just un lucky. Silsbee's #7 and I think #2 were really good batters.
 
Baseball is a game of momentum, just like on Friday night, I think Silsbee would of won, but after they hit Shepherd's player #12 for the second time (I didn't say it was intentional) it lit a fire under the Shepherd players. Same can be said in game two for Silsbee, when they came back and took the lead you could see the momentum growing and Shepherd just couldn't get it back. Again it was a great series.

I was at the game and I think it was the right move. You have to try and slow the momentum. Noah threw a good and kept us in the ball game. I would have probably went with the Soph first not the freshman just cause of experience. That's a big spot for a freshman or even a sophomore to step up. Our youth started to show. But over all it was a very good year for them. Gonna be an extremely tough team for the next 2 years

Yea I don't think he took to kindly to the second one in the first game. But he is fine. lol. That is one big ol boy and he doesn't get out of the way of anything. You could really tell that both teams wanted this series badly. One cause they haven't been there in forever and one to show that those underclassmen can play.

Good God Man!!!!, I don't remembering reading one post that knocked HJ. Everyone said they were a very good team. So some think Huffman is a better team and will win, that is their opinion and mine also. So quit with the Mine is Bigger than yours crap. It is a one gamer and anything can happen. I think it will be a very good game.
 
Also with you saying that your son is 6'-5" that knocks out what I thought of why you post like you do. I really thought you were very short and had short man syndrome.
