  1. Thanks Colmesneil & Dayton, ya'll are class acts. The kids really appreciate it. :) :) :) We were pullin for our SETX teams too. Was really hoping to see Cody Berry advance. Don’t know if he is a senior or not?
  2. Congratulations to Mason Mounkes for making it to State in High Jump & 110 Hurdles. Very proud of all of you boys. Roger Davis ran the hurdles, even though he was sick as a dog. I am especially proud of our girls, who ran with two subs in the relays. You knew it was going to be ruff, but you went out and ran anyways. Very proud of you girls!
  3. From High Island boys it's: Max Reho Leli Lupeheke/Holden Seavers David DeMoss/Ryan Gilbert
  4. It was a great day for 25A, and we are very proud of you all! Wow, Cody Berry can run!!!!!! Awesome job High Island.  ;)
  5. Great job ladies and gentlemen. [move][font=Verdana]GO CARDINALS![/font][/move]
  6. My grandpa was a carpenter and worked on the seating. Awful hurt to see it go! :'(
  7. Hope to see Chester this year, especially with the bonds that have been built this year. No matter what Chester decides, I know everyone will understand. We realize that “quit” is not part of Chester vocabulary, but intelligent decisions need to be made. Send them boys down to the beach. Leli and the rest will take them around, But not until after Track. (I got chewed out yesterday for letting them go skim-boarding)! ::)
  8. Legget showed great sportsmanship. Very proud of both teams.
  9. Great meet in Evadale, great weather too! You’re right rebel Yeller, Monkes is an excellent athlete. He jumped a 6’4” in high jump, with ease. If he had not strained his back riding a dirt bike, I believe he would have jumped even higher! I think that Monkes and Loop also took two gold’s and silver in Hurdles. And the combo of Monkes, Loop, Lupeheke and DeMoss are tearing up the relay track.  Great job High Island. Congratulations to all the athletes and to Zavalla, New Waverly and Evadale. There were some very impressive athletes out there.
  10. Great season Spurger. Valiant effort in the finals! Many, many people are proud of what you have accomplished.
  11. I don't know much about basketball, but I do know this is a [glow=red,2,300]great group of boys[/glow] with a [glow=red,2,300]classy coach[/glow]. Hope you take the whole thing!
  12. This is awesome. I know this will be a great deal more work for the Coaches and organizers than any of us can imagine. Thanks go out to all those involved! For a great cause.
  13. Thanks All Day, that is very gracious of you. Always good to hear from fine young men such as yourself.
  14. Well, I am sure that we are all hoping the boys can get some wins under their belts and have a good season. Best of luck to HF.
  15. If you can get me in Ron, I’ll split the check with ya! ;) Here is a list of my few HC credentials? 1. Shouting obnoxious things from the sideline! 2. When someone goes down on the field, walk around in circles and mumble, “Oh my God, Oh my God, please don’t be hurt.” 3. Motion for a foul and yell, “Where’s the flag?” 4. Watching SportsCenter during football season at least twice a week. 5. Forced Butt Kissing, as in the whinny kid’s parents, and the power tripping administrators. 6. And last but not least, putting up with smart-alecky on-line posters. I also have this bad habit, when someone hits my kid; I have to be restrained by my husband, all the while shouting, “DON’T TOUCH MY BABY.”
  16. Ron, you are so silly, and as always, very entertaining. Thanks
  17. Looking for some nice catches in heavy traffic against Evadale and 3 TD's, fumble recovery, and 368 All-Purpose yards against O'Connell. Coaches haven't let me analyze film yet. Guess they don't need me!  :'( LOL
  18. Can not locate this seasons game film for: O'Connell @ High Island High Island @ Evadale If seen, please return to HI or send me a message. Thank you much.
  19. Awesome win guys. You make us proud in so many ways.
  20. Awesome story. You know they say, you can tell a hero from a coward according to the direction in which they run. These boys run in the right direction. They are undoubtedly HERO's. And, I definitely agree that athletics can teach things that academics can not!

  22. This just makes me sick. I wish these criminals would stick to killing each other and leave our fine young men alone. I will pray every night that this individual is caught, before he can take someone else's precious son, and so that this family can find some sort of peace. God be with this family.
