So PNG was a nice season but you ain’t beating FB Marshall (probably couldn’t beat regular Marshall either). PNG will hang in the game but the difference will be apparent from the start. Marshall will 3-4 play drive all night and the second PNG makes a mistake it’s gonna cascade into a 21-28 point lead. PNG will not have the Bo’s and Joe’s in this one regardless of have incrediably talented Johnson is. Also bonus points... PNG’s defense is a complete joke. Someone has to be the bad guy!

Huntsville held Manvel to 10. No one should be sleeping on that team. They are stellar defensively and have a good offense. They physically dominated manvel’s oline at the point of attack. They have a wideout #1 that physically and ballskill dominated every corner Manvel put on him. Anyone sleeping on Huntsville is in for a rude awakening.

Question for dog fans what happened to #11 Fernandez kid was running the offense and moving the ball the first half one drive in the aecond and doesn’t play rest of the game. (He was holding his helmet so I assumed he was okay.)

Marshall reminds me so much of Crosby with Jaiden it’s not even funny.

So my more serious take is that BH hasn't seen anything close to the running attack that Manvel has. Crosby at full strength full of belief in self before coaches/teachers losing their jobs needed 5 fumbles to beat Manvel on a last-second play. Manvel was the better team when we beat them, They'd beat us right now even if we were full strength and in some ways, we caught Manvel before they ironed everything out. Their best running back had to sit out a quarter with an injury, their QB couldn't hit the broad side of a barn that night. I thought it then but pride kept me from saying it. Crosby was very fortunate to pull out that Manvel game even with our Star QB. Now I just think Fort Bend Marshall is the second best team in the entire state (minus Aledo.) and will end up handling Manvel again of the teams I saw play this year Manvel is in a class alone, we just had a fortunate outcome.
