    @ El Guapo... some only list a single team  such as

     

    Ozen

    Memorial

    Central... 

     

    Well in this instance the person listed both the teams playing each other... lets say Central and Ozen were playing each other ... they listed them as so... 

     

    Ozen

    central

     

    so I took Ozen as their pick... the next time i will count this as a lose... 

     

     

    you can list them either way singular form or  "Caney Head Vs Snuff GUlly" with the winner in bold as long as they are in a vertical list...

    Just a few things... 

     

    Please ( other than the one that noted the faulty keyboard ) when listing your picks, do so in a vertical list, it is easier for me to tally. 

     

    When making changes please after you re-post type in caps EDIT or CHANGED next to the pick you changed so that I do not have to go back and compare or copy and paste and leave the old picks above the new picks in the the re-post.

     

    Also if you list both teams that game will be counted as a lose... this week both teams were listed... I used the first team as their pick and they just happen to win...  THIS IS THE ONLY WEEK I WILL DO THIS... after this IT IS A LOSE... 

     

    Congrats to Longhorn93 with a score of 19.. he now wears the bullzeye!! ....

  8. Just a little note from me to you....

    Just letting you ladies and gents know I will try to have Pickem results up each week by Wednesday of each week... Some weeks it may be sooner others it may be right at dead line , just have patience and bare with me.... That is all for now carry on...

    As far as my Pirates go... We took some lumps, bumps and bruises in Florida.... As long as we take what we learned yesterday and apply it to tomorrow we will be ok... The first half we were off ... We just couldn't get in our game... Once we settled down we played SETexas football and held our own.... But as you can tell it wasn't enough... We will get better in the coming weeks.... the Black Pearl has some holes to patch up, but she isn't sunk... We live to fight another day.... :-)

    Two adays are gone, the grass has been cut, the lines have been painted, 

    New hopes are on the horizon as friends and rivalries get reacquainted,

     

    The Coaches plan, the fathers 2nd guess, as always BEdelmon always knows best,

    As each poster, fan and parent rants and raves they stand toe to toe and beat on their chest, 

     

    They are all #1 when they start out the year, 

    A State Championship for them can be seen very clear, 

     

    Although they have the skeptics and haters, 

    All you will hear them brag about is their fast running backs and their defensive dominators, 

     

    Half way through the season most of the posters will be gone, 

    all you will have left are the moderators and the regulars who are hard core to the bone, 

     

    So cheer for your favorite, and hope for a good year, 

    Just remember for most of the seniors as each game passes the end draws near, 

     

    My twins have played since they were five, 

    last year was their last year and i wont see them play again as long as I am alive, 

     

    So be a good fan and and enjoy the sport, 

    because if you go out on the field,, you will end up in court!! 

  12. VIDOR PIRATES after week two scrimmage, as I see us.

    For the most part in the first half it was back and forth, there were leather being popped from both sides.... Any word on the extent to #6's problem with right leg? he favored it for most of the night couldn't tell if it was tightness or what there was a one time... he could barely get off the ground and use it to stand up.... The Chain Gang Def will definitely be lighting up some people on Friday night... 

     

    At the end of the 3rd when WO-S went up 16-7 I didn't know how that young team was going to react.... but they dug in pulled up them boot straps... and away they went... Good Job wasnt a very sloppy game at all... I will say WO-S had 2 TD's called back a Deep pass down left side for Illegal motion, and a short scant up the middle for about 12 yds for holding... 

     

    Hats off to both teams good scrimmage... know where the work needs to be done.... put on them hard hats and get to work!
