Who won out of Shepherd and Kountze?

I know that everyone  knows that Blane is My Son. And I am so proud of him and the rest of the Evadale team. I also know he has taken alot of heat on this board, most was brought on because of me. But if you cant brag on your own child than who can... Some people take his emotions as being cocky, but the truth is he just loves to play, and compete. I just hope he has a good game this weekend and represents Setx with the class that it deserves. Is your son Blane going to play basketball anywhere or is he just going to school?

Does anybody know where he is going to play at?

Anahuac opens the district up with a win over East Chambers 13-0 in 5 innings.

Shawn Prudhomme from HJ gets my vote by far. i went to the HJ Cleveland game where he dropped 35? against a very talented and HUGE cleveland team. and not to mention the monster dunk he had that lit up the hole gym. Im also excited to see what the fish from HJ does in the next couple of years.

Dang way to get on here and bash a team that goes out and tries as hard as everybody else just may not have the talent level. Abraham we all know that Evadale is a 1A powerhouse so no need to make fun of other teams maybe you should try and be a bat boy or something if you love them that much. And Barack i have no idea why your laughing Sabine Pass isnt a team to brag on for sure.

Maybe somebody will get on here and let me know. Im just curious because that was a very good tournament last year. We enjoyed it very much.

Evadale is a good team but sometimes overrated in my opinion. Tucker is there best pitcher other than that they dont have any jaw droppers.

What happened to Anahuac being in this tournament? I could have sworn i saw the Evadale tourney on the schedule and if i remember correctly got 2nd in the tournament last year. Anybody know why they arent playing in Kountze this weekend?

Sorry but id still take Mitchell. And the reason he got pitcher of the year is because mitchell got Offensive MVP a much bigger award. Mitchell has been pitching on varsity for 4 years the other kid only on his 2nd. And i do believe we beat yall whenever yall threw yalls lefty we threw ours. Plus we are the only team to give the district champs Buna a loss and im sure you can guess who was on the hill for us. And just to add on to all that its a no doubter that hes a better hitter ;)

Every team in this district this year has a chance at the playoffs in my opinion.

I would take 2nd team All State Cameron Mitchell from Anahuac before i took the sophomore from hardin anyday. The kid from hardin is very good for a sophomore but isnt as good as Mitchell. And apparantly Colby Price is a stud too lol

I definately wouldnt jump ahead and say hes the best pitcher in he distric. Hes good but is not the best.

I know this isnt about the coaching position but will there be people keeping everybody updated on Fred Ford at SFA next year? Great athlete and i want to follow his progress.

Alright i think i can speak for everybody when i say im tired of hearing about Colby Price. The kid may be good but there is nobody in the state that can carry ANY team to a district championship. I think everybody in Kountze should quit putting so much pressure on this 17-18 year old kid and let him play baseball. They still have to be able field the ball, HIT the ball, score a run, have a #2 pitcher, a relief pitcher, and not walk off the field when things get ugly. If he's THAT good then maybe he'll squeeze them into 3rd place to get in the playoffs, but I still dont see them making a comeback like that. My picks are 1. Anahuac/Buna 2. Buna/Anahuac 3. Hardin Good luck to all the teams in district 24-2A!

No disrespect but these two teams this year are boring, they play good ball and win games but they have no swagger about them. In years past there have been big players with big attitudes that made for big games. Not saying that there is anything wrong with this , just think that is the reason that this is not a big talked about game. Good luck to both teams. But after looking at the bracket for the playoffs, looks like the 2place team will have a better chance to make it to the Reg. tour. If i remember correctly your son was at EC last year True Blue. And id much rather watch kountze or ec play than evadale ;)

Anahuac would beat Widen and Deweyville would beat Hemphill... your not giving Anahuac enough credit. They led Kountze 27 10 after 1... but lost by 10... They led EC all the first half... lost by 11... Im glad you said this UTfan.

ok for one it doesnt matter that yall beat us last year thats last year it doesnt matter. and it doesnt count as 3rd round if you have a first round bye we played in as many playoff games as yall this year.

Anahuac and EC were district 10 2A co champs end of story. So ec quit trying to take all the credit yeah yall beat us but we beat buna 40-8 who yall lost too. Anahuac Ec co district champs
