  1. Thanks! We're VERY proud of our new stadium/facilities. And you're right, it IS like a college atmosphere at The Reservation! being a Lumberton fan, I always ask people if they have seen PNG's new facility, and how impressive it is! you have that, all the history around the program, and the fans, it's a great thing to be a part of. I lived there for a short time and remember when my step son enrolled in school, they gave hime a purple headband with a feather, and I thought that was the neatest thing that school spirit was being instilled that early, now you are starting to see that with other schools I feel is necessary for great programs.
  2. interception on th first play, tipped ball yes but there were many of those.
  3. I saw png's back in the paper, anytime you get put on front of the sports page before a game boasting about your stats it's a hex! congradulations vidor! ;D
  4. no more bio diesel, the train is switching back to coal! lumberton by 21.
  5. being a vet, I take it personal, whether you are in the stands , standing by the consessions or on the grounds, if you can hear it, pay your respects. I myself have made it known to individuals to observe the raising of our colors, and I appreciate this thread and everyone who feels the same. GOD bless our country and our troops!
  6. this is the response that created the snowball down hill. don't forget the ball was dry last week! as far as lumberton winning out, hard to say? but their are no locks in this district!
  7. rain will dictate this game, slippery ball, no footing means turnovers. game plans change with a muddy field, you are at it's mercy! can't see a high scoring game. good luck no injuries!
  8. I agree, not worth the risk, nothing wrong with light contact but no sacks. you really don't want that in a real game so why practice. I think he understands the threat just by seeing what is on the other side of his offensive line!
  9. not just a game to this guy! what an idiot! interesting music, I guess he was humming that song all night long...crazy friggin' dude.
  10. I agree, I graduated in 87 and our football team was nowhere near what it is now, but it does not mean you don't have to be humble about your success. some fans are just over the top with their opinions and no one is guaranteed a winning season year after year, so you are right, don't forget where you came from! a W in vidors books, great job, good luck, and lets move on and focus on central... another tough one!
  11. Can you stop the run? I think he can answer your question better than me! And your point is? If your point is his size? Not impressed! yeah and he is really slow too, I wouldn't be worried at all! 8)
  12. There was a thread recently about shaking hand after the game. this goes above and beyond what is called good sportsmanship. this type of respect (I would hope) should be echoed throughout our district as well as everywhere else. when we learn to humble ourselves and lift others up, especially after a hard fought loss, shows that these young men are a reflction of their leadership. great article!
  13. they always take the bait on one persons opinion, and all the sudden we are all arrogant! I totally agree and second the motion!
  14. :D That's funny putting us in the same company as them. You must have forgoten that Livingston rung up 300+ yards on you... I guess the Lions were a real team... keep it real lumberton fan's! believe me the coaches and the team do not share the same opinion, and 99.9% of the fans don't either!
  15. I disagree, I am from one of the formentioned schools with the initials LHS and the fans have becomed very "Uppity" over the last 5-10 years. We could barely win when I went to school there, but since the inception of the L-Train, the fans are so far in the air, it is rediculous. Be proud of what you have but don't Down other schools because of their shortcomings. I am sure they will work on the problems. Good Luck Raiders on the rest of your season. and nobody complained how bad centrals field was either! don't worry you guys will travel there, and will see for yourself, and hopefully you won't have the same announcer! people are calling it like they see it, whether it is central field, livingstons stadium or lumbertons train horn.
  16. I listened to the game at work, and I could hear the announcer in the back ground, I hope that sort of thing doesn't catch on! and people are complaining about noise makers and horns???? hurry guys snap the ball! time is running out! that is crazy! :-[ ???
  17. half time @ the babe, ants put on unforgettable half time show, some say high school musical, too hard to tell!
