  1. Kip McFarlin (Played for TX Tech), Bryan Spell, Cody Robbins, those are just a few I can think of off hand...
  2. First off.... This is a weird thread to post that in, and it was kind of random... Secondly, you are very wrong. Even if you win out. You will need Nederland to lose a game... sorry, doesnt look like its your year
  3. Nederland is averaging almost 400 yards per game... I cant really see any reason why this would be different this week... LC-M has a decent defense, but Mosley will get his yards, you cant stop the kid...
  4. well son, i dont think it will be sold out son, but it depends on which side you sit on son, i would call the school son, see if theyve got tickets son, that just my opinion.... son
  5. Nederlands offense stinks??? Nederland is ranked #5 in the state for Total Offense... what stats are you looking at???
  6. yea they are... I'm getting REALLY Sick of Hearing BOJO, BOJO.... I hope Nederland goes over there and beats the snot of the Bears... Those Bears are talking too much smack...Its put up or shut up for both of these teams...Nederland will be ready to knock LC-M into last week...
  7. you must have lost your mind... Points Scored against opponents this year... 20 - La Marque 44 - Forest Brook 38 - Waller 24- Vidor 24- Central 31- PNG 35- Ozen And you honestly think LC-M can hold Nederlands offense to 10 points... That would require stopping Mosley... Go ahead put ten guys in the box.... He will still run over you, and even if you can stop him... BAM! play action... Moshier to Cabra for 6 points....
  8. OK earlier I said Central wins this one... I do like Daytons stats and their athleticism.. For some reason, I have this gut instinct telling me that they will make some costly mistakes and turn the ball over too many times... Dont get me wrong, I dont have any problem with Dayton winning, to be honest with you, I really dont care either way??? I just have this feeling that they will have one of those game where nothing goes right..
  9. well after straining my eyes, I think I managed to figure out what you said... From a biased standpoint, I would suggest LC-M/Nederland... If I wasnt going to that game... Then I would be at PNG/Vidor... no doubt about it... I got a radio so I could listen to that game...
  10. Nederland is getting much better and if you know anything about Neumann, then you know he 'Peaks' his teams... and this is about the time of the year where Nederland usually begins its 'Peak'...
  11. as a former player... we always loved hitting LC-M hard...And when I played they would always try to take cheap shots...
  12. Our chapter can do a crappy job sometimes... And I dont know where you figure that Mid-County Schools get the calls... because we used Beaumont Chapter Officials for the La Marque game and had some horrible calls that game...
  13. haha yeah... riiiight... I wouldnt talking too much smack... you just got a big goose egg layed on you last week... Here is a little tip from the DUMMIES Guide to Football.... You can't win if you can't score.... BOZO the Clown is Going Down... and I love how BOJO is kinda like MOJO from OD-P
  14. If one of you went D1 and the other went D2, then you wouldnt meet in the playoffs... There is a D1 state champ and a D2 state champ...right???
  15. How is PN-G ranked ahead of Nederland??? Thats crap.
  16. I Didnt realize that Nederland would go Division 1... its about time.... Class 4A Region I Projected Playoff Pairings DIVISION I EP Andress (6-1, 4-0) vs EP Del Valle (4-3, 3-1) Amarillo Palo Duro (2-5, 1-1) vs Plainview (5-3, 1-1) Denton Ryan (4-3, 2-1) vs Keller Fossil Ridge (6-1, 3-0) FW Southwest (6-1, 3-0) vs Aledo (6-1, 3-1) DIVISION II EP Chapin (7-0, 4-0) vs EP Parkland (7-0, 4-0) Hereford (6-1, 2-0) vs Lubbock Estacado (2-5, 1-0) Wichita Falls Rider (4-3, 3-0) vs Springtown (4-4, 3-1) FW South Hills (5-2, 2-0) vs Everman (4-3, 3-1) EP Austin (4-3, 2-2) vs EP Riverside (7-0, 4-0) Pampa (3-4, 1-1) vs Wolfforth Frenship (6-2, 2-0) Wichita Falls (3-4, 2-1) vs Birdville (7-0, 4-0) FW O.D. Wyatt (3-3, 1-1) vs Stephenville (7-0, 4-0) Key Playoff Road Map Notes 1-4A/2-4A: Three way tie for third brings in many possibilities EP Austin is currently in a three way tie for third with Bowie and Burges. Austin, after its match up against Andress, will have Jefferson and El Paso High in the final two weeks of the season. The big match up between Parkland and Riverside will occur in Week Nine. Also in Week Nine, Del Valle travels to Clint Mountain View for what could be the deciding game in the 2-4A playoff picture. 3-4A/4-4A: Estacado faces tough road ahead Pampa in the last three weeks face the other three teams currently tied with them for second place in the district standings. If Estacado intends to make it into the playoffs, they will have to do it by traveling to Plainview and Wolfforth Frenship with a home date against Big Spring in between over the last three weeks. 5-4A/6-4A: Springtown, Boswell face must win game The race for third in 6-4A coould be decided this week as Boswell travels to Springtown. The win could be a must win for the Porcupines as they face undefeated Birdville in Week Nine to close their season out. In 5-4A, the Wichita Falls Coyotes have a chance to further improve their playoff chances with a trip to winnless Denton Guyer. 7-4A/8-4A: Crowley faces murderer's row of opponents One thing about 8-4A is certain. A very good team will get left out in the playoff dance. Stephenville and Aledo are expected to make the playoffs. Crowley, who is 7-0, has Everman this week, then Stephenville and Aledo afterwards in the final two weeks. If the Eagles intend to make the playoffs, they will have to win at least one of the three games. Fort Worth Southwest is looking much like they have over the last couple years as of late and has allowed only 19 points since their 31-30 Double OT loss to Crowley in Week One. Class 4A Region II Projected Playoff Pairings DIVISION I McKinney North (7-0, 4-0) vs Highland Park (7-0, 4-0) Texas High (7-0, 2-0) vs Marshall (5-2, 3-1) Dallas Samuell (4-3, 2-1) vs Dallas Kimball (3-4, 2-0) Waxahachie (5-2, 3-0) vs Copperas Cove (6-1, 2-0) DIVISION II Lake Dallas (7-0, 4-0) vs Forney (4-3, 3-1) Paris North Lamar (5-2, 1-1) vs Kilgore (5-2, 3-1) Dallas Wilson (7-0, 3-0) vs South Oak Cliff (3-4, 2-0) Ennis (5-2, 3-0) vs Killeen (4-3, 1-1) Frisco (6-1, 4-0) vs West Mesquite (6-1, 4-0) Paris (5-2, 1-1) vs Whitehouse (6-1, 4-0) Dallas Lincoln (5-2, 3-0) vs Dallas Pinkston (5-2, 2-0) Lancaster (5-3, 3-1) vs Waco (5-2, 2-0) Key Playoff Road Map Notes 9-4A/10-4A: Greenville jumping into 10-4A playoff picture The big match up in Round 1 of the Texas HS Football 4A Division I Playoffs between McKinney North and Highland Park is set in stone. Lake Dallas can clinch a playoff berth a win or loss by McKinney. Frisco clinched a playoff spot with their win over Centennial. Greenville can climb into the 10-4A playoff picture with a win over Mesquite Poteet at home this week. The Lions have a trip to Highland Park in Week Nine before closing the season at home against first year varsity program Rockwall-Heath. 11-4A/12-4A: Whitehouse, Texas High maintain district lead The playoff picture is starting to clear up drastically in 12-4A with Whitehouse, Marshall and Kilgore separating themselves from the vast majority of the district contenders but Hallsville and Nacogdoches with wins this weekend could send a mudslide into the East Texas playoff picture. But the same cannot be said about 11-4A where Paris, North Lamar, Lindale and Sulphur Springs are even at 1-1. North Lamar travels to Mount Pleasant while Paris hosts Sulphur Springs and Lindale hosts Texas High. 13-4A/14-4A: Playoff clinching week in 14-4A? While Wilson, Lincoln are coasting through 13-4A, Samuell and Spruce appear to be the contenders for the third playoff spot. Samuell has a date with Lincoln this week, then Spruce in Week Nine. The winner of the Kimball/Pinkston match and South Oak Cliff can all clinch playoff spots with wins this weekend. 15-4A/16-4A: Corsicana still clawing through playoff hopes If the Corsicana Tigers can play like they have the last two weeks of the season and upset Ennis this weekend, the Tigers just may find themselves in the middle of a playoff hunt with Lancaster. Both teams are tied in district play 2-2 entering this week. The Killeen Kangaroos and Hewitt-Waco Midway Panthers are currently tied for third in the district ladder. If the Panthers can get off the slide they are currently in, they should give themselves enough motivation to get through the final three weeks of the season and possibily advance. Midway currently holds the tie-breaker over Killeen. Class 4A Region III Projected Playoff Pairings DIVISION I Austin Johnson (4-3, 4-1) vs Caney Creek (5-3, 3-1) Houston Sterling (4-3, 3-1) vs Houston Austin (4-3, 2-1) New Caney (4-3, 4-0) vs Nederland (3-4, 2-2) Friendswood (6-2, 3-1) vs Lamar Consolidated (7-0, 2-0) DIVISION II Austin McCallum (6-1, 5-0) vs Montgomery (4-3, 2-1) Houston Wheatley (6-1, 4-0) vs Houston Yates (5-2, 3-1) Barbers Hill (7-0, 4-0) vs Dayton (5-2, 4-0) La Marque (7-1, 4-0) vs El Campo (6-1, 1-1) Elgin (6-1, 5-0) vs Brenham (6-1, 3-0) Houston Kashmere (3-4, 3-1) vs Hou. Washington (6-1, 4-0) Crosby (4-3, 3-1) vs Beaumont Central (5-2, 4-0) Texas City (5-2, 2-1) vs Rosenberg Terry (5-2, 2-0) Key Playoff Road Map Notes 17-4A/18-4A: The race in 17 still jumbled as ever In 18-4A action, the big match-up will be Waller traveling to Montgomery in what will ultimately decide who the third playoff spot. Over in 17-4A, Elgin travels to Austin McCallum in a game that will decide quite possibily the district title and playoff positioning in DIvision II, but McCallum's status as a DII rep is still up in the air. Austin Johnson and Austin Travis both enter with 4-1 district marks. If Johnson ends up as the third playoff team or if Elgin misses all together and Travis leapfrogs Elgin in the standings, McCallum goes DI. If Elgin and Johnson make it along with McCallum, Johnson is DI. There is still an outside chance the McCallum Knights could miss the playoffs as well. 19-4A/20-4A: Teams in both districts look to stay alive in race With a win, either Wheatley or Kashmere can clinch a playoff spot as Furr and Scarborough battle to stay alive in the 19-4A playoff picture. The winner of the Sharpstown/Reagan contest remains alive in the 20-4A playoff picture. But an Austin loss to Davis will scramble the entire 20-4A race for third place. 21-4A/22-4A: 3rd place race in 22-4A could be in a tail spin The New Caney/Galena Park match up will either be Galena Park's saving grace or the straw that broke the camel's back. The Yellow Jackets, after a 6-0 start to the season are locked up in a four way battle for three spots with now Barbers Hill and New Caney ahead them in the standings and have lost the tie-breaker against Crosby. In 22-4A, Dayton and Beaumont Central will battle for what could decide playoff positioning and the district championship. Nederland will travel to LC-Mauriceville in a game that will be quite possibly the lead for the third playoff spot. Wins by both Lumberton and Vidor will likely send the third spot race into a feeding frenzy with two weeks left. 23-4A/24-4A: Playoff spot, district title on the line in 24-4A The Lamar Consolidated/Rosenberg Terry winner automatically clinches a playoff spot and likely the district title. El Campo hosts Richmond Foster in what will be the likely decider on who will represent 24-4A in the playoffs. Friendswood travels to Angleton, in what will likely decide either the D1 rep in 23-4A or who will possibly left in the cold at the end of the season. Class 4A Region IV Projected Playoff Pairings DIVISION I Pfl. Connally (5-2, 4-0) vs New Braunfels (4-3, 2-2) SA Alamo Heights (6-1, 2-0) vs SA Brackenridge (6-1, 2-1) SA Harlandale (2-5, 2-0) vs Gregory-Portland (3-4, 1-1) CC Flour Bluff (5-2, 1-1) vs Mission (5-2, 3-0) DIVISION II Lake Travis (5-2, 4-0) vs Schertz Clemens (6-1, 4-0) Kerrville Tivy (3-4, 2-0) vs SA Houston (5-3, 2-2) SA McCollum (4-3, 2-0) vs Pt Lavaca Calhoun (6-1, 2-0) CC Calallen (7-0, 2-0) vs Mercedes (5-3, 3-1) Burnet (4-3, 2-2) vs Hays Consolidated (6-1, 4-0) Fredericksburg (5-2, 1-1) vs SA Lanier (5-2, 3-1) Uvalde (4-3, 1-1) vs Beeville Jones (6-1, 2-0) Alice (5-2, 1-1) vs Edcouch-Elsa (7-0, 3-0) Key Playoff Road Map Notes 25-4A/26-4A: New Braunfels rocks Canyon's playoff hopes With likely wins this week, Burnet and Drippings Springs will be squaring off in the deciding game on who will make the playoffs as 25-4A's third rep. But Lake Travis and Connally meet this week in Pflugerville for the likely district championship. In 26-4A, Clemens and Hays Consolidated meet in an identical senario as Lake Travis and Connally. If New Braunfels takes care of business the last three weeks, they are in. Canyon, with the loss to New Braunfels, created an uphill battle for themselves to stay alive with Clemens and Hays still left on the schedule. For the second time in three years, a very solid team out of the New Braunfels district will miss the playoffs. 27-4A/28-4A: Brackenridge, Boerne control own fate to finish line The next two weeks will tell the story on Brackenridge's stand as a district title contender as they face Lanier and Fox Tech in that order. And speaking of both Lanier and Fox Tech, if the pattern and results of the district hold up, Week Ten could be for the third and final playoff spot between the two. After their match up against SA Kennedy, the Boerne Greyhounds will control their own fate as they go up against two teams ahead them in the district standings in Kerrville Tivy and Fredericksburg. 29-4A/30-4A: Gregory-Portland faces the music, heat SA Harlandale certainly knows when to turn on the light switch. The Indians are in first place alongside McCollum after starting the year 0-5. South San Antonio and McCollum battle this week in what could be a critical playoff positioning senario depending on how Uvalde performs. Gregory-Portland will see the game against Port Lavca Calhoun as a game that could save their season or dig their own grave. But the Wildcats may have a golden opportunity to survive with Miller coming to town in the final week of the season. 31-4A/32-4A: Critical survial match in 31-4A Mission and Edcouch-Elsa battle this week for the likely district title and pride in 32-4A. Tuloso-Midway and Kingsville King will be in Kingsville for a likely elimination game in terms of the 31-4A playoff picture. The Calallen Wildcats, who are the new Class 4A #1 in TexasHSFootball.com's Weekly Top 40, hosts Robstown at home this week. **Source : TexasHSFootball.com
  17. I will say that in this district... Best Rushing QB - Brandon Williams (CENTRAL) Best Passing QB - Alex Moshier (NED)
