Well obviously OFIELD and HJ aren't on WOS level of play so play good enough to beat OFIELD and HJ this week and WOS will beat you! What yall in LG don't understand or know is that WOS lost 2 games this season, yes! But they were both early in the season with a sophomore qb who came into this season thinking he was going to be the backup qb/ kicker!!!! It took him and the team as a whole a while to get where they are today! But you don't have to be playing your best football in the preseason, you have to be playing it NOW!!! Which the stangs are!!! This team right now is playing their best ball of the season and are clicking on all cylinders!

With all due respect let me say this and I know that I speak for those of us that actually put time and effort into evaluating the WOS Mustangs next weeks opponent.
La Grange is not a one trick pony and we as WOS fans know that! Yes he is the fastest kid that I have seen in high school football besides Speedy Noil but he gets those yards due to the excellent crossblocking and pulling that his O-line does to make those holes for him. The LaGrange team is the real deal and we respect them highly just as we have every opponent that we have faced this year. I have watched the HJ/ LG game and believe that I saw two amazing teams leave everything on the field. There are a few questions that I have for my Hj friends but overall it was it was a slobberknocker. A few plays could have changed that game entirely. So to you LG fans please understand that we are not all cocky, we just love our team and want to see our kids win this one. We have faced a lot of adversity this year and to see our kids rise above the mess and junk that goes along with a small town, I am so proud of the boys!!.  Its gonna be a great game to be at! Cant wait for Friday to get here!

LG and WOS might be seeing each other for the next couple of season's

So we have 2 sophomores that r going to go at it, Dallas and Dobbins

Ok if LG wins Friday don't dissappear and if WOS wins il be here saying good game

Well everyone who is playing now is better than they whr in week 1. LG and WOS will be a battle, and LG is not 13/0 for nothing

If you think the tackle by Padgett was a personal foul, you obviously have never watched football. He didn't do anything wrong. What was he supposed to do? Pick him up and gently set him on the turf? Yeah......right. Padgett showed his strength. You bet #5 didn't come near him the rest of the game. La Grange is absolutely a one trick pony. Without #22, they get absolutely blown out by HJ. He ran quite a few plays out of the wildcat. Looks for half a second, if he doesn't see anything he scrambles to the outside, takes a quick glance upfield just to see if a receiver is open, and (even if they are) he takes off. That's it. You stop that, it's over. Granted, that's a lot easier said than done, but WO-S has more speed than HJ and won't be relying on amazing linebacker play to stop him. LG defense is pretty solid, but if they gave up 28 to HJ, all I have to say is good luck. Dallas will pick apart that defense. LG will have to throw it, something they couldn't do against HJ. (I can remember 2 maybe 3 complete passes?) And they will be throwing against one of the best defensive backs in the country. LG just proved that they weren't as great as everyone thought they were. Plus, the Stangs proved that they are GOOD against the run on defense. WO-S by at least two TD's. All the cutting back upfield, juking, and jiving that #22 did to get his yards won't work against the Mustangs. All this aside, the real question is, where is motormouth???

Especially since we've been knocked out in this round the past 3 seasons! But believe me when I say they are tired of going home after 4 rounds and ready to prove it to a lot of people! In my eyes this is the most COMPLETE TEAM we've had recently! If the stangs play disciplined MUSTANG football and contain like they know how to and gang tackle like the MUSTANGS do, the Mustangs will win! Now that's a tall task but very possible!

And we know LG is too. As it should be, the two best teams in the region playing for the region. Going to be a dandy!

I expect WOS to have excellent special team play. Leps have had outstanding special team play all year and will need it against the Stangs. The game should be close and the outcome might hinge on the kciking game or return coverage. The Leopard defense will need to step up and defend the pass. Our secondary is fast enough to keep up with the Mustang receivers. The weather will be ideal with 10 mph wind Friday which shouldn't hamper the WOS offense. It is going to be a good football game for sure. One that we all have been anticipating since early on. Both teams have very loyal fans and will banter about on the boards then show up to watch the boys play ball. Hope we have a great clean injury free game Friday. Leps by 7.:)

If HJ could have passed more, they win that game imo. Gave LG 2 short fields on punts and 2 missed fumble recoveries hurt the Hawks. Give LG some love, they have a good team but from what I just witnessed 1 demensional.

He also spoke very highly of giddings last week! Coach t always points out the good things in opponents not weaknesses so no one expects an easy win! He's always respectful to our opponents and of course LM is very deserving of our respect! Should be a heck of a game! Everyone be safe on this perfect day for high school football! GO STANGS!!!

Practice was this morning. Looked good.

Jasper is the greatest team of all time. Bigger, faster and stronger than the Pittsburgh Steelers. Coached by the ghosts of Vince Lombardi and Tom Landry. I heard Peyton Manning calls Jaspers QB for advice. Jimmy the Greek picked Jasper to win the Super Bowl. No way Henderson should even be on the same field. I would not be surprised if Castles forfeits ahead of time.

LG's defense only average eh? They only average 14 points allowed per game while HJ averages 19 and LG has had a stronger schedule. So does that make HJ defense"only average".
 
You will see all the weapons the LG offense has Friday Dobbins, Hutchison, Rigden, Mueller and Janda to mention five. Our middle LBs #30 Worsham and #99 Garza will blow up the middle. Please continue to underestimate the Leopards just like Orangefield did. You will see.
