People will watch it because Dallas is playing. The haters will be out in full force hoping Dallas loses. Dallas faithful will be watching hoping to see The QB throw farther than twenty yards down field. The ratings will be through the roof all because Dallas in on.

When you don’t play much on offense in the pre-season that Panther defense is not a good choice for the first game of the season. That Panthers defense is good. Our defense looked good.

The Silsbee Tigers will host the Nederland Bulldogs in the home opener for the Tigers. The Tigers (0-2) are looking for their first win of the season and the Bulldogs (2-0) are looking to stay perfect on the season. This is the first meeting since 2003 between these two teams. Ok let me spell it out, during the PNG game Coach Allen was in the press box until halftime. From then on he has been on the sideline. He wanted to be up there so he could see the offense and make pre-snap adjustments. Thing is Coach Allen isn't a press box kind of coach he is a sideline kinda coach so he chose to get back on the side line.

As stated before, Coach Allen is on the sideline.

Most of the time, not all, but most of the time a coordinator wants to see the whole field to make calls and no place better to do that than in the press box.

Maybe that will free up Devon and Jordan to help out down low when needed. Just a thought

2009! Really they where shut out for four quarters. The Silsbee Tigers beat WOS 12-6. The only score WOS got was a gift from Silsbee, a snap over the punters head that WOS recovered in the end zone. I believe that was the last time WOS offense was held scoreless.

Questions to answer? Questions to answer? Who is going to take the heat off of Johnson? Last time we played there was Hughes, Riggs, McZeal they factored in big in helping Johnson. Is there anyone on this PNG team that talented? It will be interesting to see if PNG inexperience WR try to get open. Will the PNG offensive line constantly open holes for the RB and Johnson to run, also how much time is needed for Johnson to be able to throw? This defense of PNG if it is better than last years defense, how much better is it? One touchdown, two touchdown better? Will it be enough? Since Taylor and Martin have started together in the back field for Silsbee only one team slowed them down, Carthage! Now that brings me to Silsbee. Just how well has this offense reloaded at skilled positions? Will thunder and lighten keep on storming along? How has the QB and WRs synched up with each other? How is the defense going to contain Johnson? On the ground or in the air! These are the questions that will be addressed and answered Friday night. You don't know the answers, it will be played out on the field. Lots of tradition will be on the field come Friday. Well, one thing about it is Silsbee's coaches has several things to work on after this scrimmage. Dropped passes, slow out of the box, out of position on defense, tackling, tackling, tackling!!! It did get better as the scrimmage went on, but things to work on. This was another hard hitting scrimmage. Brownsboro runs hard and hides the ball really good in the back field, gave us problems. After the first quarter we finally got our wits about us.

People it's just a scrimmage, that's what they are for to find out what you need to work on. Making adjustments is WOS cup of tea. You can better believe come next Friday it will be WOS as usual.
