The Silsbee Tigers (11-12, 2-4) and the #21 state ranked LCM Bear (23-4, 5-1) start their district series Friday in Silsbee. The Tigers swept their series last week against HF winning 7-2 and 8-0. LCM swept their series against Orangefield last week winning 16-10 and 9-8. The Tigers are looking to move up in the district standings and LCM is looking to stay on top. The Tigers are 7-3 against LCM since 2012 and won the series last year. JV starts at 4:30 and Varsity starts at 7:00.

The Silsbee Tigers (9-12, 0-4) will travel to Hamshire to take on the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns (5-6, 1-3) at the Box. Big series this week for these two team to get into the playoff race. JV will start at 4:30 and Varsity will start at 7:00. The Tigers have a 17-4-1 record over the Longhorns since 2007, winning the series last year and the last thirteen games.

It was one of them you had to be there to see it type games. It was a good back and forth type game all game long until the end. It’s hard to beat BC in Baseball in BC as it is, when the calls go against you well you know. It is what it is.

This district is pretty tight, three ranked teams in the top 25. BC got lucky against Silsbee last Friday then couldn't hold off LCM today. Orangefield is all alone in first place. Silsbee is winless in district and WOS has one district win and HF looking for a win today against WOS. No place but 22-4A.
