The Varsity game will start at 5:00

The Silsbee Tigers (9-10, 3-5) will host the WOS Mustangs (3-12, 0-7) in the second round of the district series. The Tigers are looking to get back in the win column and stay in the playoff hunt. The Tigers won the first game of this years series 6-2 and have won three in a row, sweeping the series last year. The Mustangs last beat the Tigers in 2017 sweeping the series that year. JV gets started at 4:30 and the Varsity start at 7:00.

Yeah, Silsbee is down a little bit. Other than the BC losses we have lost three district games by a combined four runs, still losses, but all where winnable games. We got some players coming back from injury that’s starting to settle in. So if being down means we are still competitive in district and having a chance of winning a game at the end I think we going to be alright.

There is a reason why HOTROD309 started this thread, it’s because this site is dead. No, there’s no trash talking, not even from Silsbee as you have said. Fact is most traffic on this site is probably from Silsbee fans talking about their team.

The Silsbee Tigers (8-7, 2-2) will travel to Sour Lake to take on the Hardin Jefferson Hawks (8-7, 3-1) in a pivotal game in the district race. The Hawks are tied for first in district and the Tigers are one game back. The Tigers had a bye last Friday and HJ beat HF in their last game. The Tigers have a 15-9 record over the Hawks since 2007 but the Hawks have won 6 of the last 8 game winning both game played last year. The JV starts at 4:30 and Varsity starts at 7:00.

There’s one thing for sure, WOS wasn’t going to beat Cuero. Silsbee made sure of that.
