Mark this down, Silsbee can beat yates! There's no doubt about it. Silsbee can match yates speed and has more depth. yates has tried to intimidate and scare Silsbee, don't think it worked. I don't think yates has any respect for Silsbee eather. That will be their mistake. yates heighth is one thing Silsbee can't match. How will yates handle Silsbee's speed and depth. Go over the top of them with their heighth? How will Silsbee handle yates's heighth. Use their speed and depth? It will be a tall hill for Silsbee to climb, but a hill Silsbee has climbed before. The Silsbee Tigers will host the Diboll Lumberjacks in the 2013 baseball season opener at the Tiger Diamond on the beautiful Silsbee High School campus on Monday. The Tigers will also open up with a new look to the Tiger Diamond field as several renavations have been done in the off season. Hopefully the rains will stay away to get this game in. Go Tigers!!!

The Silsbee Tigers travel across the creek to take on the Lumberton Raiders in a scrimmage Tuesday night. Weather permitting that the field gets dry enough. Just a little Village Creek Classic baseball style, in a scrimmage!

Since both teams have been in same district ('07), HJ won 4 of the first 6 games played between the two. Since then, Silsbee has won 10 of 13. I would say that is turning it around. ;) [/quote] Yes, the first two years in the same district (07 & 08) HJ won 4 out of 7 games. Since then, Silsbee has won 9 out of 12 games played.  I'll give HJ a ripple in the early going.
