WOS won the game by about 16...Don't have the final handy. Kelly played very poorly today especially coming off the game last night against St. thomas

Yeah I don't know enough about Silsbees bigs besides DC was tonight an odd night because they were relying on athleticism rather than boxing out if they box out with their leaping ability I don't see anyone getting a rebound on them? When will Stallworth be back? I noticed his boot is that just for quicker recovery or is it a bad sprain? Get a grip is right nobody said that Silsbee didn't win the game. All that was said is that Kelly kept it closer than many people thought. Silsbee has a good team and will finish 1 or 2 in district with HJ.

Didn't say anything about silsbees team so I have nothing to be careful about. I've seen silsbee play several times and I know the difference stallworth makes he is far and away your best post. Also appreciate the comment poppabearStarr

This is no suprise yates made it known they were not going to take the press off for anyone all season

I hope we opened some eyes to all those who predicted silsbee by 30 and 40

My suprise team is Tarkington. After seeing them play in the Huntington tournament I didn't think there was anyway they would compete with people in this tournament but thy fought hard with new waverly blew another team out and are playing for fifth place which isn't too shabby. Also lumberton should win the consolation going away.

You are uneducated and a child so I won't further this discussion. I have q job and I do it to the best of my ability. If I cares what you thought I'd ask. I care about my players and that's all that matters worry about your high school classes.

To further prove how dumb your post was Kelly directed nothing towards East Chambers. The one time there was a double tech the players both laughed about it afterwards. The other tech kelly recieved was towards the officials. I wil admit that We expressed a great deal of frustration towards the REFS nothing towards you. Ask you coach and players how they felt about the officials see what they say or is that too classless

The most classless team? Really?  So your an adult that comes on here and calls out high school kids. We were dirty? What did we do that was dirty? We are classless? We shook your teams hands after the game every last player and coach. So before you spout your fat mouth off think. What about your obnoxious fans making comments about our players during the game for every one to hear? But you feel tough because you got to come on here and talk trash about high school kids. If you want to talk about myself and Coach knowles feel free we are paid ADULTS who do what we do but when you come on here and call out my kids you are a PUNK.

If hj and new waverly play each other, hj will win going away.

Let's not get carried away now Yates is good really good but I don't know that they are the best..Snap Peters is good but he isnt a dominant player like some of the best teams have. I don't know how yates would be able to handle a Jared Sullinger or a Findlay Prep team.

None of these teams would give yates a game. Until you see them play you just cant understand. You think Kountze and HJ can press just watch Yates attack the ball.

Another good win for the young Bulldogs. Kelly came out hot and jumped out to an early lead. Lumberton crawled back to take the lead at the half. The second half was a back and forth battle with the bulldogs coming out on top. Two good games heading in to the East Chambers tournament.

I have been reading a lot of posts on here about good officials and bad officials and HJ officialls...Just Kidding  ;D. I agree with the idea that it is a difficult job and I would never in a million years want to do it. No matter what call you make someone is going to think your wrong. If you have the nerve to make a big call you will be verbally assaulted by fans, players and even coaches. Its a tough job no doubt about that. That being said though what is frustrating for a coach is when referees don't know the rules of basketball. For example, in one of our games this season I had an official who did not know that when a man was being defended he had to do the five second count...it got so bad that the other referee had to explain to him that he was supposed to do that. Another issue is when referees don't make the right call. This is another situation that I have had happen several times this season. A player has his hands straight up but clearly fouls a player with his hips...this is a blocking foul not a reaching foul, but some referees don't make the correct call. The most frustrating issue with refs is the inconsistency they have in regards to the issue of a player slapping the backboard and disturbing the ball. Some refs refuse to make this call and some know the rule and make the right call. There are some great officials in this area but at the same time especially in the lower levels there are some refs that need a rules refreshment.

Suprised Legacy knew they had this game scheduled and wernt practicing instead....

Before people start going crazy...this is my opinion on the kid from watching him play in the summer. He could be a great low post player. With his size strength and athleticism he could be a dominant four man. That said he strays to far away from the basket and is not nearly as effective on the perimeter. Coach English knows what he is doing I don't understand why you would come on here and complain about him?
