A Couple of Things For all the Trash Talkers on here..... These are high school kids playing the football not all the posters on here. If the kid's want to get on here and talk trash let them but for god sakes you are grown men talking trash on high schools and high school players. Vidor is going to bring 5,000 people? Where are they going to sit then...they better bring their bleachers too because kelly is not equipped to handle that. SgtRey...does it make you feel tough to call out Dakota Eddins like that. Would you enjoy it if someone came on here and called out your son or one of your family members...Give me a break....I'm sure if Coach Stump had his choice he would have preferred it if he stayed. Dakota was a St. Anne's kid who went to westbrook for a year and decided to come back to Kelly. Who cares what his reasons were? But your going to call out a high school kid? Wow real mature. When you come on here with no real anaylsis and make comments like vidor by 50 or Kelly by 30 that is pointless. If you want to offer analysis after having SEEN BOTH TEAMS than go ahead and feel free to state your opinion.

But he hasn't been playing anything close to the type of level that is D 1 basketball.

I've heard a little about this kid...can he shoot it? It's hard to find a true point guard these days too many kids just wanna score from the point guard position and don't understand their other duties.

Last time I checked player's who play on JV more often than not move on to Varsity... So what does it say when these player's were unable to beat a freshman team? Also last time I checked Coaches schedule games not player's...So direct your coach to maxxpreps or our twitter page to look at our schedule and he can get in touch with myself or Coach Knowles to schedule a game.

Kelly's Varsity isn't playing...and I seem to remember Kelly's Freshman beating Sabine Pass' JV in the Nederland tournament last year...

It just depends on your personnel and how you like to run your press...if you have an athletic big i think you can run a very effective 2-2-1.

Haha. I think some people on here get the wrong idea...I don't think anyone on here is rooting for the kid to fail. I think it's just frustrating when you see someone with such immense potential, wasting it.

My question is this...If he couldn't even finish high school, knowing how all he had to do was finish and pass? How is he going to stay eligible at the University of Texas? Sure he will have tutors and advisors available to him but they can't do the work for him. I hope someone as talented as he is realizes his gifts and wakes up.

I'm not saying that because Kelly had a player ranked last year it should be the same this year. I am saying that it would be an honor for our program to have a player ranked as one of the best in the area. I said a player because right now I think that's all we deserve. I'm just doing the same as you are Lazeek, trying to support the Kelly program, but it's a much lonelier job. :-\

I was at the summer league game you are referring to and our focus the entire summer league was working with our post players, Ivan Boudreaux and Alfredo Ledet. If your so sure about what Forney did why don't you ask him and the other Nederland players what they think of his ability. By the way you said you guarded him, you didnt say you stopped him. We have an open date January 19th if you'd like to talk to your Coach about playing us again, wed be glad to oblige. : :

Why can you support your Hj Players Lazeek but when I come on here campaigning for a Kelly player it's not okay. I'm not saying that we should have multiple player's ranked. Not by a longshot. I'm just saying that based on last year's list and the fact that Kelly had one player on it, I think the same should be true this year.

Well let's see maybe because the list came out at the beginning of the year, when I myself didn't expect him to become a starter for Kelly, he did start though at of position for Kelly and contributed. . You are basing everything of last year's list, . I am talking about the upcoming list. Are you reading my comments at all? Have I said I thought anyone else from Kelly should be on the list? I seem to remember pointing out that Schrapps is not just Kelly's only returning starter...He's our only returning letterman. So I don't see how it would even be possible to have anyone else on the list.

If Schrapps isn't on the list than that would mean Dionte Fourney shouldnt be on the list either. They were clearly on the same level when they played against each other in the Nederland Summer league. I'm sure Coach English would agree with that. Oh so let me get this straight Kelly can't win without it's Port Arthur players? I do believe it was Matthew Falgout who led the team in scoring during District....He attended St. Anne's. The team that beat West Brook, which happened to be the last time to the two teams have played, featured Ryan Zummo, Jude Messina, Taylor Mullenax....who all attended St. Anne's. So don't give me this Kelly only wins with their Port Arthur kids garbage. Last I checked the leading scorers in the history of the program were all home grown talent. So Kelly will do just about as good as any team can that is replacing 11 players and will most likely start three sophomores.

Maybe Vidor's band will play during halftime. It would be nice to see a band during halftime of a Kelly home game.

That's for sure Kelly isn't exactly spacious when it comes to visitor seating.

He was a senior...I would venture to say that Nick Schrapps would be on the list. Sorry to disappoint but he is a homegrown talent. By the way there is only one kid from Port Arthur in the Basketball program.

I'm not making a prediction but I think Kelly is a real Wildcard. They have a lot of potential on the offensive side of the ball. They have the QB and Size at the Receiver position. I think Adderton has the ability to be a star. The question comes at the offensive line, if they cant move people well then it just wont matter.

I'm still waiting to here why Kelly "doesn't count as a beaumont school".

Westbrook's gym is a horrible gym too from a shooters perspective with no solid walls behind either goal.

Okay Bobtex since your Mr. Lee Corso....Kelly 1,000 Vidor -2. I mean at least make a predicition that makes sense. Kelly moved the ball through the air last year and has the capability to do the same this year. I'm not saying Kelly will win, but I think Coach Long will manage better than 0 points.

They don't meet the requirements for what? Being a School? Last I checked they had students and teachers so that makes them a school. Do they not meet your requirements because they have suddenly beat West Brook and Ozen. Ignorance.
