  1. Sounds exactly like the Kelly/Milburn game. Vidor has a good coach and are headed in a good direction.
  2. When is the time going to come then? This is the same Yates program that beat Oak Hill and St. Patricks two years ago on back to back nights. This is a dynasty in the making.
  3. 17-13 Kelly 9:53 in the second.
  4. Kelly and St. Thomas will square off tonight with the playoff on the line. Since St. Thomas defeated Kelly by nine points in the first game, and since St. Pius has clinched the district, it's very simple win by ten your in, win by eight your out. Win by nine? Then come the tiebreakers and who knows how they really work. It should be an exciting game tonight and hopefully Kelly will come through. Go Bulldogs.
  5. Was the guard white? If so that would be Christian Sanders. He is a very talented ball player and a good point guard. They also have another point guard who is talented as well named Anthony Culberson. Their bigs are Jeremy King, Aaron Durley, Chase Kammerer (sp?), and they have one more. They lost Trey Guidry to St. Pius, but it might be for the best because it will open up playing time for some of their bigs. Talk about an embarassment of riches, that would be St. Thomas. Kelly will have their work cut out for them, but that is a long way off yet.
  6. This post is an embarrassment to Kelly High School and needs to stop since it is obviously some of the girls doing it. You are using inappropriate language...$2 whore? Really. You don't see the boys team on here hyping themselves. Win games and everything else will take care of itself. All you are doing is providing bulletin board material to other teams and making yourself look like fools. Coach Schrapps.
  7. Were you asking about St.Thomas' guard play? If so it is solid. They have a sophomore who came over from Second Baptist who was all state last season. They also have a big kid who plays outside as well as in. They had some good kids on the JV last year that were pretty good shooters. Overall they have a great team.
  8. Kelly can match up on the perimeter...but St. Thomas has four players who are 6'6" or taller and Kelly will have a hard time matching up with them inside. That said for the most part the two schools always play each other tough and have some very heated battles. Kelly is trying to build up its young talent and keep the program going in a good direction.
  9. Dakota Eddins 25-39 347 yards 3 tds Nick Schrapps 12 catches 160 yards 3 touchdowns
  10. Some stats from the game for Kelly... Dakota Eddins- 25-39 347 yards 3 touchdowns. Ben Payton- 6 catches for 113 yards. Nick Schrapps-12 catches for 160 yards and 3 touchdowns.
  11. The offense wasn't the problem tonight man...Eddins, Payton, and Schrapps all played great. They just had some bad turnovers at big moments. A fumble on the goaline, the ten and the thirty will usually cost you and it did tonight. The coaches made nice adjustments. Great game boys, tough loss.
  12. These kids left the Village School to attend Lutheran North. Word is they will be attending Christian Life
  13. Is the Martin big kid a junior? Yeah the Juniors for Kelly are Eddins, Adderton, Almond, Klein, and Martin. Very young team.
  14. yes but the post said undefeated in ALL sports. The Starting Sophmores for Kelly are C- Mark Figueras, G/DE-John Rugg G-Eddie Scott T/DE- Brandtley Wilson WR/SS- Nick Schrapps FS- Daniel Messina CB- Dillon Guidroz DT- Zereque Pete K/TE- Willie Lighty
  15. this statement is untrue. I saw bridge city lose to henderson when they were in eight grade. Don't get carried away now. On a side not Kelly has an excellent group of sophmores. Nearly the entire offensive line and defensive secondary are sophmores

  17. Nicholas Schrapps is not my SON. Genius. Talk about acting like you know everything, maybe you should get your facts straight. My vision is a little blurry...Who is ahead of Bruce Reyes in passing yards in the area? Could someone help me out with this one?
  18. SgtRey has the maturity of a small child...maybe the grammar to based on some of your posts (In case you didn't know Your isn't spelled Ur) . And I dont have any children..so who would my boy be? Hey if you need to pump your son off to anyone who will listen by all means have at it
  19. Why don't you let people give your son the accolades instead of always doing it yourself? : : :
  20. We'll see then...Their "handler" is a part of the package and became an issue at the village school. Whats to say if you don't do things the way he wants he wont send them to another school?
  21. I still have to disagree with you. Age wise they are young but basketball wise they are not. They have been playing the AAU circuit which Im sure they played over 50 games this summer. They have a season of varsity basketball under their belt as well. And they played for the Bahamas Junior National Team...that is plenty of experience to succeed.
  22. They aren't that young. Wannah and Carey played varsity basketball last season against seasoned competition. They should be ready to lead this team. Wanaah is a 4 all the way he has the athleticism to play the 3 but does not have a reliable jump shot to play the three. I would be interested to hear how or if he had any play against big Nic from Westbury?
  23. Soooo let me get this straight your telling me if Wanaah and Carey don't follow your rules your going to through them off your team? Thats fine they will just go to another school like they did with the Village School. Give me a break....
  24. Kelly played well last season but just had a hard time finishing off games...Im trying to understand while your calling the team out with no real insight? Like I said Kelly is young,,,Figueras, Wilson, Pete, Schrapps, Guidroz, Messina, Rugg, Scott are all sophmores..This is Eddins first year running the offense. They are going to continue to get better. As for the other comment I do believe Palermo and Adderton are 1, 2 in the district in rushing yards...why would they need to change the run game? 42-21....coulda been whatever Vidor wanted. Something needs to happen at Kelly!!!! getting trashed by a very good 4a team is one thing..........this...losing bad to Splendora.......unacceptable.......................... Kelly is an extremely young team..with the exception of Quinn, Anderson, and Adderton they have first year starters at nearly every position. The line is extremely young and are playing their first full varsity season. Still trying to find their way as a team. Bridge City played well and ran the ball extremely well. Kelly will improve.
